27. best review you ever got
There was one I remember in particular on Hiraeth where the person talked about how the fic really meant a lot to them as someone who is asexual. I hadn’t deliberately wrtten the fic with that in mind, but I can definitely see how that perspective comes throug and I’m glad it meant so much to them. Whenever a fic really touches someone, I think those are the comments I remember the most.

Tony, with his bright, wide eyes looking at Steveunwaveringly and called him a troublemaker. Steve smiled and rubbed the soap over his skin.
Who asked Steve if he liked macramé. Steve had looked that up during the flightwhen he had downtime after the final mission briefing. He did not, in fact, think that he likedmacramé. At least, if that was what Tonyhad meant by it. It apparently was atype of textile that was produced using various types of knotting techniques thatusually involved long, twisted ropes and hanging fringes, and after he hadsearched for information on it, he had no idea if Tony had been asking him anentirely different question. Not thatthey hadn’t had slang terms for sex back in Steve’s day. The Army had been rife with them, afterall. He had tried to use the Internet tofigure it out. An Alpha passcode meanthe could find all kinds of things, he had learned, which was convenient, ifsometimes overwhelming.
Unfortunately, it turned out if you searched forknotting and ropes, you got an entirely different result than what Stevethought Tony might have meant by that remark. Probably. Not that Steve wouldn’t be willing…if Tonywanted that. If Tony wanted that, ofcourse, then Steve would…he would be happy to…do macramé.
