A fiery and aromatic chili oil sauce that adds a spicy kick to your dumplings.
Ingredients: 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 2 tbsp dried red chili flakes. 1 tsp Sichuan peppercorns optional. 1 tsp sesame seeds. 1/2 tsp salt.
Instructions: Put vegetable oil in a small saucepan and heat it over low heat. Put in sesame seeds, Sichuan peppercorns, and dried red chili flakes. After 5 to 7 minutes of cooking, the oil should smell good but not smoke. Time to cool down. Take it off the heat and wait 15 minutes. After adding the salt, let it sit for another 15 minutes. Use it to dip dumplings in for a spicy taste.
