I live in IL and I was just wondering if you could identify this insect(?). I keep finding them in my bathtub & bathroom sink. I've never seen them before until I moved into this apartment.

It is hard to tell from the lighting in this photo, but a possibility is Smooth Spider Beetle (Gibbium aequinoctiale), family Ptinidae. Introduced in the US, they are found across various parts of the world.

The White-marked Spider-beetle (Ptinus fur) is a species of beetle with a near cosmopolitan distribution. They are scavengers and are known pests for museum collections as they are known to eat specimens. I found this female under a rock in an old rockslide.
