I've been getting increasingly obsessed with lepidoptera (butterflies & moths) lately and now I'm doing the opposite of being fooled by camouflage where like. I see a dangling bit of dead leaf and go "ooh, a chrysalis!" I see a twig and go "a caterpillar?!" and I keep forgetting other bugs exist I saw a large spider eggsac and was trying to figure out what kind of moth makes such a small cocoon

funny thing is i put the corpse of another brown recluse i killed in a bottle and then my bite healed before i went back to the doctor so. there's just a recluse corpse in a bottle on my desk.

Fun note from this week's session: about halfway through a fucking enormous wolf spider dropped from the ceiling directly onto my keyboard and made me Yell out loud I do not need my dnd to be that immersive mx. spider THANK YOU

Also one time my nook miles ticket took me to tarantula island and I got got by them like 10 times. But I still managed to catch a couple. One to give to the museum and then just one to sell. To make a point.

A motherfucking SPIDER BIT MY LIP WHILE I WAS SLEEPING LAST NIGHT AND NOW ITS SWOLLEN!!! I WOKE UP WITH A FAT LIP AND NO EXPLANATION?! I only figured it out hours later when I noticed the two goddamn little pinpricks in my fucking LIP!!! FUCK OFF!!!
