Talking to my coworker and Spidersonas. And with my own lore she takes on the Viper, a tribal politician owning a casino that's incredibly corrupt selling drugs back to our people. She fought him after the illegally dumped ooze that mutated the spider is found. Gang wars start, drugs are made that start to turn people in monsters.
Her own best friend who she was about to leave the rez with gets pulled into a gang and forcefully injected. He turns into the Lizard and she accidentally kills him in the fight. So much drama and pain happens that eventually leads to the Viper being defeated and arrested.
All for the second arc to take place when the Osborn Indigenous Youth Science Initiative takes her cousin in. They all go to the big city together. And the entire green goblin arc happens.
And I just realized the ooze could have been dumped by Oz Corp. And he even knew about it. Pretending to be the perfect Token Indian who made it big, at the expense of all the others he threw under the bus. All of that in the moment of fighting him. He threatens her family. Exposes himself to be a monster who cares more about his image than uplifting their people.
And he was the reason her friend died.
