some spidey! robin headcanons

the spidey-sense would make robin feel almost normal. now she’s attuned to everything. for once in her life she finally feels normal.

robin is definitely more confident as the spider-woman.

buff spidey robin…

she doesn’t tell steve at first. and she would tell him, she’d love to tell him, he’s her best friend. but she just can’t. (she will, eventually)

her “guy in the chair” is max and erica. erica says she’s friends with the spider-woman and no one believes her (except max of course) but everytime erica calls for the spider-woman she shows up.

robin definitely got stuck to the walls similar to miles in into the spiderverse.

hm. thinking about robin’s, “my whole life has felt like one big error,” but being the spider-woman is the one thing that feels right.

she does eventually tell steve, but it’s kinda similar to how ned finds out that peter is spiderman in spiderman homecoming lol, he’s like “YOU???” 

i feel like argyle would be a huge asset to spider-woman

steve eventually joins team spidey, he’s the one who’s constantly making sure robin’s not doing anything stupid. (one time he begs to go on a mission with robin and all he brings is his little baseball bat. it works.)

i don’t think robin would have an inciting incident to become the spider-woman (like uncle ben dying or whatever) i think robin would become the spider-woman because that’s just who she is.

lol sorry can’t stop thinking about robin accidentally climbing through nancy’s window and greeting the end of one of nancy’s guns bc nancy just thinks ‘intruder’ before robin has to rip off her mask and she’s like, “nance! it’s me! it’s robin!” and nancy’s like “robin?!” (except i have a feeling that nancy would find out very quickly that robin is the spider-woman, she’d just keep it to herself and let robin think she was keeping it from nancy)

ok but spidey!robin saving nancy from something one night and nancy spitting, “i didn’t need your help.” and robin saying, “i think you’re looking for ‘thank you,’ princess.” with a little spidey wink

“no, i don’t. i’m sorry. i just don’t see what the big deal is,” she strolls over to the family video counter, “besides, we have a job to do. worrying about the spider-woman is not in our job description.”

“i know it’s just,” steve wanders around the store, restocking some copies of nightmare on elm street, “it’s a superhero. in hawkins,” he emphasizes hawkins with a flourish of the vhs tape.

robin rolls her eyes, “god, you’re starting to sound like dustin.”

steve scoffs, muttering something about, ‘yeah, well, at least i’m excited about it,’ before going back to restocking the tapes.

it’s not that robin’s not excited about hawkins having a superhero, or not that she doesn’t care; it’s just hard to be excited when she’s the one the news won’t shut up about. that's right,
