When the audience's applause had died down Victor followed the actions of Henry, who was always far more informed on the etiquette of the arts that he. The magnificent performance was over and Mozart's last piece was played and finished. It was time to collect their coats and return to their residences, at least, this is what the scientist believed. What was not revealed to him was that Henry had the intentions of having a tête-à-tête with the composer. It was late and Victor became increasingly irritable as he often was. His friend agreed that the scientist could wait in the hall while he scouted for the musician. Victor collected his coat at the entrance and stuffed his hands deep into his pockets with a scowl on his face and being overly eager to leave soon. As he stepped into the cool night air he spotted a figure walking along a path alongside the theatre. He called out to the man, trying not to startle him.
"Hello-- sir?"
