Heyie! Tell me a random Flambert thought (fact, headcanon, whatever) that lives rent-free in your mind but you've never actually shared ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ
This one was hard because I’ve kind of been saying everything that crosses my mind in regard to these two LMAO.
I’ve kind of mentioned this a few times in reblogs, but Flambae is not suave. He’s a dork with a starting charisma stat of two. He tries to cover up the fact that he’s a loser with spandex and douchey sunglasses.
Here’s a little scenario that bounces around in my head when I’m bored.
In the past, Flambae’s tendency to put his foot in his mouth has been no problem. Flambae is an attractive man if you look past his garish sunglasses and personality. All he needed to do to have men flock to him was give them a certain look and he had his company for the night secured.
Robert isn’t as easy. He knows the man is attractive sure, but he’s also seen the ugliest, most volatile sides of him.
Flambae, not realizing this at first, thinks getting Robert in bed with him will be a piece of cake once he actually realizes he wants Robert (physically, at the very least.). At an outing with the team, he gives Robert a look from across the bar that would have any other man. Robert gives him a bit of a look back, but otherwise doesn’t budge from his spot. Flambae is appalled.
(Robert is already into Flambae, but it’s fun to watch him flounder.)
It would take a while of him pulling his usual tricks before he starts trying to verbally flirt, and, God, is it hard to watch. They banter just fine, but when Flambae tries to outright flirt? There are gravel roads smoother than his lines.
After a painful amount of failed attempts, Flambae has to bite the bullet and just do what Robert said he would need to: ask him to dinner.
So he does. It’s awkward and Flambae’s stubborn, prideful nature means a lot of poorly mustered bravado to cover up his nerves, but he manages to ask Robert out to dinner with only a single insult slipping past his lips. A dork at heart, Flambae barely stops himself from pumping a fist in the air when Robert says yes.
