Sunflower girl

sunflower girl,

you turn to the sun

grey clouds block your view

fairytale girl

your head is burning,

aching from your flower crown

beautiful girl,

holding memories in your hands

a proof of life you must have lead

you’ve talked to me through screens

through long rides home you sang in my ears

reflected my world back to me

   from a healing heart to a healing heart

we’re all humans intertwined

sunflower girls all around

Cross the Sky

Let’s cross the sky together

fuck a sea

we fly in Cadillacs

in our dreams

we eclipse the nothings

leaving traces on the wind

of your beautiful breath.
