Scrap of something with no context bc I need to post something here since I kept promising...
“Luis? I want to go outside for a little bit.”
“But it's cold, mi amor. There's ice. What if you slip and fall?”
“I've been in a bedroom for days. I'm going stir crazy, I need some fresh air,” Great, Leon's crying now. Luis has to be getting sick of this shit, the way Leon cries any time Luis says no to him. He must be starting to suspect that Leon is just making himself cry to guilt trip him into agreeing. Luis just can't say that, because his grandfather noticed Leon's tears and started glaring at Luis. “I just, I'm sick of being cooped up.”
“Hey, hey, don't cry, it's okay! Stir crazy, you need out of the house. I can figure this out. We could go see a movie?” Leon starts crying harder because Luis just isn't listening to him. He doesn't want to see a movie, if that was what he wanted he would have said so. He just wants to go for a walk, why can't Luis listen? “It gets you out of the house, but not much walking and less opportunities to slip, you'll be inside and off your feet.”
“I don't want to see a fucking movie. I just wanna go for a little walk!” Luis's grandfather gives him another dirty look, noticing Leon's upset. And Leon knows he's about to get what he wants. “It's snowing, I love snow.”
Some heated Spanish words Leon can't understand are exchanged…
“Okay, okay,” Luis says when he finally turns back to address Leon. “We'll go outside for a little bit. But you're getting bundled up in multiple layers.”
Luis is glad he caved and agreed to go outside, because it's the happiest he's seen Leon in a long time. He actually runs, and then drops to his knees to pack a snowball together. He considers throwing it at Luis, but decides that wouldn't be very fun. (There's no fucking way Luis would throw anything back at Leon currently, it's not a snowball fight if only one person is throwing them.) Instead he starts rolling it to make a snowman.
He doesn't get very far before the temporary burst of energy fades. It's only the size of a soccer ball, and Leon feels too winded to see it through and make a decent sized snowman. He sighs in defeat and lays down on his back. He can find the energy to drag his limbs enough to make a snow angel at least. Luis finally joins in, having previously just stood back and grinned watching Leon frolick, and picks up where Leon left off and keeps rolling the ball for a snowman. Leon sits back up to watch, and then gets the urge to start rambling.
“This is the only thing I miss about where I grew up. Parents were always annoyed by me existing and I was basically locked out of the house from sunrise until after dark. I didn't have friends that would let me come over, so shitty weather really sucked. Cold and rainy was the worst. But the cold wasn't bad when it was snowy, I'd just build little igloos, they kept me pretty warm,” Luis greatly admires the way Leon tells a story about neglectful parents who let their child be exposed to the elements and somehow it's a happy story about a fond childhood memory. “Can we come here every winter? I don't think I'd want to live here forever, no offense, LA is just home to me, but every winter, that'd be nice.”
not super polished but finally got some holiday fluff to post
Getting settled into their new place and decorating for the holidays was frustrating to Leon. Because he wasn't allowed to do anything. Luis was protective and doting since the moment he saw the positive test, but he really ramped it up when they found out it was twins, and then again when Leon started showing.
Once Luis and Chris got the couch inside, Leon's job was to sit down on it and watch his… family (family!) do everything. He wants to be up on his feet, hauling things in himself. But if he so much as tried, Luis would be having a panic attack and telling him that he really needs to be taking it easy right now, the doctor said so, and he doesn't mind doing more work himself, Leon's body is growing two human beings and that's way harder than carrying furniture and boxes. Luis wouldn't be wrong either. While Leon isn't quite on bedrest yet, he has been told that he needs to take things a little easier and get more rest. It's also undeniable that Leon is becoming limited by pregnancy, much to his chagrin. His back and feet ache all the time, and losing his balance and tripping on nothing is becoming a more frequent occurrence.
It's hell for Leon, not being able to do anything. None of his parents, bio nor foster, ever gave a shit about him, so he's been doing everything for himself as long as he can remember. The closest he's come to being taken care of that he can remember was after his big breakup with Krauser when he cried on the couch with Claire and she made fancy drinks while they watched a shitty movie. At least that was purely emotional. He's never been physically dependent on anyone like he is now. Even when he had a broken leg, he got good with his crutches and didn't feel this useless.
Luis notices Leon's frustration. He's so fucking impulsive and head over heels that he temporarily abandons unpacking the moving truck to go buy a Christmas tree so Leon can at least stand and put ornaments on. He still doesn't feel great, but slightly better than when he was just rotting away on the couch. And Luis promises that they'll go shopping for the nursery and decorate together once the necessities are all unpacked, as long as Leon (literally) lets Luis do all the heavy lifting. It's a little pathetic that him sitting down in a chair to paint the lower half of a wall while Luis takes care of the rest is so exciting to him, but hey, at least he's got something to look forward to.
-
Leon was actually really happy about it when Luis first started wanting to have some sort of Christmas “party.” (Party feels like a strong word. Luis has been respectful of Leon's wishes about privacy during his pregnancy and not wanting anyone he doesn't know well come over, so any party thrown wouldn't have more than a small handful of guests.) He felt great, almost enjoying pregnancy. His bump was still small enough that it didn't get in his way and was invisible with the right clothes, and then when he was alone with Luis he could wear his snugger tops that clung to it and feel cute.
But he gets more nervous as the holiday approaches. The babies go through growth spurts, everything hurts, no jacket effectively hides that he's pregnant. And he doesn't like that. It's some primitive instinct, he feels exposed. He doesn't like that anyone who looked at him would know he was fragile. Luis notices and tries to cancel all the plans, but Leon is stubborn and wants to follow through even though he also doesn't want to. (Emotions are confusing.)
Chris, Claire, Stevie, Luis's grandfather, it's the fullest Christmas Leon has had in his adult life. It's like the family gatherings his Jesus freak foster parents would drag him to, except he's not wearing a dress, everyone loves and accepts him, and no one is treating his body like it's public property just because he's very visibly pregnant. (He is wearing a dress, but actually by choice– pants are now very uncomfortable and lounging around in them for hours would be hell. So he did something very uncharacteristic and asked Luis to get him a dress to wear. It's red and has a bow that sits on top of Leon's bump because the babies are the best present Luis has ever gotten, and it's comfortable. And Luis tells him it makes him look handsome.) He hugs everyone, by choice, not because he feels forced to out of politeness, and they just hug back normally, no attempts to start feeling up his stomach without his consent. So far Luis is the only person he's let feel the kicks. Eventually he's going to let Luis's grandfather feel, but he's not quite ready yet, and, shockingly, everyone just respects that. There's no pressure, no one even asks to feel, everything will be on Leon's terms. It makes him feel a little bit less helpless.
He gets the best seat in the house, in between Claire and Luis. While Luis is the only person the hormones make him embarrassingly obsessed with, he's also felt much closer to Claire than he has in a long time. He lays down on his side, head snuggling into her lap. She plays with his hair. If he was still with Krauser, he'd be dead. Krauser always hated him just sitting next to her, this intimate cuddling would really piss him off.
But Luis isn't Krauser. Luis understands that Claire, while not by blood, is Leon's sister. There's nothing to be jealous of. He smiles when he looks over and sees Leon's head in Claire's lap. He doesn't try to pull Leon away from her, he just rests a hand on Leon's growing bump. Partially because he's as obsessed with Leon and their babies as Leon is with him, and partially because variations of “I can't believe I let you get me pregnant, your children are currently beating the shit out of my ribs and internal organs and it fucking hurts, I fucking hate you” has become something Leon says frequently. But thankfully they already have some kind of attachment to Luis that's helpful.
When Luis talks to them, they relax and go to sleep. When Luis plays guitar near Leon's stomach, they have a dance party on Leon's bladder. (Which is a mixed bag. The whole kicking his bladder thing is awful, but the fact they react to, and seem to enjoy, their father's music.) When Luis touches Leon's stomach, at least one of the babies will kick his hand. That last thing is actually quite useful. It's like a lightning rod, they switch from kicking Leon places that hurt to the front of his stomach where Luis's hand is. Because he does like getting to feel them move most of the time, it soothes his anxiety to feel proof they're doing okay in there, it's just when they start kicking in specific places or he gets too overstimulated and touched out and just needs a little break from it.
Everyone else is having a conversation, but Leon tunes it out, just enjoying the touches of his two favorite people in the world. Eventually Luis moves his hand away from Leon's stomach, instead stroking his back. While Leon has never minded it, Luis is always worried that his excitement about the pregnancy and focus on the bump is going to make Leon feel more like an incubator than a person. So he makes a conscious effort to try and balance things, making sure Leon gets plenty of touch and attention that isn't related to pregnancy.
Luis moving his hand kick starts a new desire he hasn't felt before.
“Hey, Claire?” Leon asks in a hushed voice. “Do you want to feel them kick..?”
“Well, do you want me to?”
“Yeah. Go ahead.”
Something about Claire's hand seems to make the babies shy, they don't kick for her like they do for Luis. But she feels one rolling around a little bit.
It's so soothing, being with Luis and Claire, being touched gently.
Leon wakes to Luis and Chris's drunken renditions of Christmas songs. Chris on guitar, Luis singing and playing his keyboard he brought up from the basement. Luis abruptly abandons Chris mid-song when he notices Leon woke up.
“Hey, mi amor, you had a good nap? You ready to open presents? Wait, you need something? Hungry?” Luis bombards him with questions too fast for him to actually answer. He's definitely at least a little tipsy, something Leon is glad for– before anyone arrived he'd insisted to Luis he wouldn't be upset if Luis drank, but he'd worried that Luis would be too selfless to indulge in something that Leon couldn't have. And god knows the man deserved a drink and a night to relax. Every weekend he's flying out of town to play concerts, three days a week he's filming his show, at least once a week he's driving Leon to prenatal appointments, and even when he's at home he barely relaxes, just focuses on taking care of Leon. Apparently even drunken Luis is focused on Leon, but at least he was having fun during his nap. “Bathroom? More hot chocolate?”
“Hey, slow down,” Leon says, lifting his head off of Claire's lap, who's just amused by how eager to please Luis is. “Yeah, bathroom, then we can do presents.”
Leon is a little embarrassed to get Luis's help just getting up off the couch and walked to the bathroom in front of a whole room of people, but it's less embarrassing than if he spent several minutes struggling to drag himself up like a turtle on its back, so he can live with it.
Once they've returned to the living room, Claire takes the liberty of distributing the pile of presents under the tree. Unsurprisingly, the pile in front of Leon is the biggest. He'd insisted that he didn't want a baby shower, so all the baby presents were just rolled into Christmas. He opens his couple of presents first. (He hated being the center of attention and getting a ton of presents, so most just bought presents for the babies. And Luis was waiting for Christmas Day itself to give Leon anything, wanting to leave one special day for just the two of them to enjoy together.)
Of course Claire had to get him something, a dumbass “#1 Dad” mug that he insults as he unwraps but probably will put on his desk whenever he goes back to work. And Claire filled it with his favorite candies before wrapping it.
His other present is from Luis's grandfather, a beautiful leather jacket with swirls and flowers. Luis looks shocked, and starts talking to his grandfather.
“That's his jacket. He said that he was planning to gift it to me, but changed his mind and thought it would fit you better.”
“Is he sure..? Are you sure?” Leon's voice drops to a whisper. “Are you upset he's giving it to me? You should just take it and tell him I don't want it if you want it.”
“No, you should have it. I'll admit I'm surprised he's giving it to you, but I'm not upset at all,” Luis does take the jacket from Leon's hands, but only lifts it to make it easier for Leon to slip his arms into. “Try it on?”
Leon humors him and slips the jacket on. He doesn't bother trying to zip it, but it fits his shoulders and arms nicely.
“I don't know if I should keep this, it's a family heirloom, feels weird.”
“It is a family heirloom. And you're family, mi amor.”
Instead of letting any stupid, rambly word vomit about love and family tumble out of his mouth, Leon opts to ram his head against Luis's shoulder. Luis will know what that means, and it's not like Luis's grandpa would understand if he said anything. Then he takes the jacket off and tells Luis to wear it for tonight, so it'll smell like him.
Luis only has one present. Which is one more present than he asked for. He had plenty of money to buy whatever he wanted himself; he didn't want Leon's friends spending money on him that could have been spent on the twins. (Sure, Luis could also buy everything the babies needed, but babies are apparently fun to shop for. Luis made one vague comment about him and his partner starting a family on set one day and had three people asking if there would be a baby shower.)
Unsurprisingly, the single present is from his grandfather. He smiles when he opens it. It's a stethoscope. Luis decides to use it immediately, putting the stethoscope's chest piece on Leon's stomach. Leon knows Luis found a baby heartbeat when he grins and starts tearing up. Then he moves it around again, finding the other baby's. Leon just knows this is now going to be a part of their nightly routine. Luis gets Leon his bedtime snack, tells him how much he loves him, then he pets and talks to the bump for a while, and now he's also going to listen to their heartbeats.
Once Luis manages to stop crying (the heartbeats always get him– Leon doesn't particularly care about them, they're just weird noises to him, but Luis has cried at every. Single. Appointment.) they move on. Luis used his own expertise to get Chris a musician gift Leon doesn't pay much attention to, and Claire got some nice motorcycle gear Leon picked out and Luis paid for.
Then it's finally onto the baby presents, that Leon and Luis open together.
It's mostly clothes, which is what they expected, that's the fun stuff people want to buy.
Luis's grandfather stays later than the others. After all, him “going home” is a two minute walk to the small house on their property. He takes care of the wrapping paper around the room and does the dishes so Luis can keep relaxing on the couch with Leon.
“Hey, Luis?”
“Yes, mi amor? What do you need?”
“Before he goes, ask him if he wants to feel the babies.”
“Ah,” Luis is caught quite off guard by that. “Are you sure? You don't have to, he understands. Wait, this is about Claire, isn't it? He isn't jealous that you let her feel and not him, I promise. It's different, he knows that. You've known Claire longer and on top of that the language barrier is a real bitch, it's completely fine for you to feel comfortable with your touch but not his, okay?”
“Yeah, I get it, your grandpa's a saint. But this isn't about Claire or jealousy or anything, I just feel ready…”
Luis calls him over to join them on the couch, and he takes a seat on the other side of Leon. All three of them are a little bit nervous. Luis and his grandfather because they're worrying that this is going to be a lot for Leon and he's going to freak out. And Leon for the same reason, really. But at Leon's insistence, Luis's grandfather still hesitantly reaches a hand out.
The babies get shy again and stop moving. Apparently Luis is the only person they want to interact with. Or maybe it's Leon's fault and they'd be less shy if Leon had let other people touch them sooner– He gets an idea that thankfully distracts him from that upsetting train of thought.
“Sweetheart?” Luis looks up at Leon. He'd crouched down on the floor to start talking to the babies, basically begging them to kick for their great grandfather. “Go get your guitar.”
Luis grins and gets up to grab his guitar right away. His grandfather takes his hand off Leon's stomach. Leon grabs Luis's grandfather's wrist a few minutes later, when Luis's guitar playing has worked its magic and they start kicking again. His grandfather smiles and coos and talks to his great grandbabies and Leon's kicking himself for waiting this long to let him touch him because it does feel so good to have family as interested in the babies as Luis is. Their babies are going to have a childhood with far more love than Leon's had.
“He said this just like when he'd touch Julian's stomach all those years ago. And, uh, I guess I should mention Juliana was my mother, I don't know if I've mentioned that?” Luis eventually starts translating some of his grandfather's more meaningful statements. “And apparently I was quite an active baby like our Righty is, always moving around.”
“Lefty moves around a lot too, she just hangs back so it's harder for you guys to feel. But trust me, she's as annoyingly active as her sister. Pretty sure they beat the shit out of each other in there, definitely feels like I've got a wrestling match happening inside me sometimes.”
Luis says something in Spanish, probably a translation of what Leon said, and his grandfather laughs.
“Earlier you said your mom's name was Juliana, right?” Leon asks later that night, when they're in bed, just the two of them. Or rather, the four of them. Leon's laying on his side, Luis is spooning him, rubbing his stomach. Luis mumbles a sleepy yes to his partner's question. “We should name one of the babies after her.”
“Yeah? For real?” Luis responds, all the sleepiness in his voice gone. “I will admit, I was planning to tell you them having Spanish names was really important to me, but I wasn't going to insist on anything more specific than that, you have the hard part, you deserve the final say.”
“Well, start thinking about another Spanish name that sounds good with Juliana, because that's what one of them is getting.”
“Juliana Serra Kennedy. And… I'll come up with another good one, I promise. I've still got time.”
“You said a lot of things last night and I know you didn't really mean all of them, but what about when you said you wanted to go home? That sounded a little more real than the other stuff. We can go home if that's what you want. My grandfather won't be mad. Really, if he knew that's what you wanted, he'd be screaming at me that I better pack everything and take you home right now.”
“No. I'm fine here. I just… I don't know. I miss Claire. This is the longest I've gone not seeing her since…” Leon trails off, not wanting to say Krauser's name.
“You should call her! Talk to her as long as you want, I can afford it.”
Luis sits on the couch next to Leon while he dials Claire's number. He expects that Luis is going to stay there. That's how Krauser always was, he would hover whenever Leon was on the phone with anyone, making certain Leon wasn't talking bad about him. But as soon as Claire answers, Luis kisses him on the cheek and then gets up and leaves Leon alone in the living room, as his grandfather was already in bed.
“Hey.”
“Leon! I didn't think you were supposed to be back this soon, is everything okay?”
“I'm not back, I'm calling you from Spain, actually. I just wanted to tell you something important and I didn't want to wait another few days,” It takes Leon a few seconds to work up the nerve to say it. He wasn't nervous before, it just hit suddenly. “Uh, I fucked up the whole trip because I couldn't stop throwing up and being a bitch. Thought I was just sick and a horrible boyfriend, but then Luis went out and bought me a pregnancy test and, uh. Yeah. I'm not sick, just pregnant.”
“Pregnant. Oh my god. Don't panic. You'll be okay. I'll drive you to the clinic soon as you're back, okay?”
“The clinic-? Oh, Christ,” This is exactly the response Leon would have wanted 8 years ago. But not anymore. “Claire, I'm keeping it.”
“Seriously? You can't seriously think having a fucking baby with Luis right now is a good idea. You've been with him a few months.”
“You were supposed to be happy with me.”
“I just don't think it's a good idea.”
“He's not like him. He's nice to me. He loves me.”
“You know who else was nice to you at first? Jack Krauser! He was a perfect gentleman until he had you locked down enough to start with the weird, fucked up shit.”
“Krauser wouldn't have treated me like he has. I'm pregnant, I'm pretty locked down, if he wanted to do weird shit to me, he'd be doing it already.”
“Is he with you right now? Maybe we should just talk about this when you're back.”
“No! He left the room. Just told me to talk to you as long as I want because money isn't an issue. He isn't Krauser, okay? Just trust me? This isn't as out of nowhere as it looks to you. We already talked about kids. We were going to wait a year before trying, but I'm not upset it happened sooner. Luis is so fucking happy. His grandpa's happy. You're the only one who's upset. Can you just be happy for us too?”
“I'll try to be happy for you, I'm just worried about you. I love you. You're tying yourself to someone you barely know for the next eighteen years! And let's be real, you're barely pregnant, you're not as locked down as you think. He's being nice to you now because you can leave him. You can walk fine on your own. You can get an abortion. What about when you're eight months pregnant? When you can barely walk and can't lift anything, and you're completely dependent on him financially, he can do whatever he wants.”
“Good job. I've been so fucking excited, and you just killed it. Maybe you're right.”
“Look, I'm sorry. If you really think you want to have a baby right now, go ahead, be happy, just try to have a plan. For what you'll do if Luis is an asshole.”
“Well, I'll stay with him and pretend everything is fine. Like you said. I'll be locked down and dependent on him.”
“Uh, no. I'm your plan. If he starts being an asshole, me and Chris are showing up at his house to pack all your shit and you're moving back in with me. I can take you to your appointments, hold your hand at the hospital, whatever you need to stay away from him. Got it?”
“Yeah. You're the best. I love you,” Leon is suddenly exhausted and starving to death. “Okay, it's late here, so it's getting to be time for Luis to make me a snack before bed.”
Leon hangs up the phone and shouts for Luis, who comes running.
“Are you sad?” Luis's face quickly goes from the satisfaction of thinking he did something to cure Leon's homesickness to sheer panic when he sees Leon's expression. He kneels down on the floor in front of the couch and takes both of Leon's hands. “You're sad. Why are you sad? You called your friend, you're supposed to be happy right now. How do I make you not sad?”
“You don't need to do anything,” Leon squeezes Luis's hands. “Claire just didn't react how I thought. She wasn't happy. She isn't a bad friend, she's just realistic. My taste in men hasn't been great so she's just worried you're going to be like the others and I'm putting myself in a situation where I'll be fucked if you-”
“How do I fix this? How can I prove that won't happen? I can get you a bunch of cash you can hide somewhere I won't know about, buy another car in your name only, whatever I can do to make you feel secure, I'll do it.”
“Luis…” Leon is crying again, but this time it's happier tears. This reaction is more proof that Luis isn't Krauser. “It's okay, we figured it out. I'll just move back in with her if you- if things, uh, don't work out.”
“I'm still going to buy you a car. And, when we get back, I'm going to go to the bank and get a fat envelope of cash for Claire to hold onto, an emergency stash of money for you, just in case.”
“You don't need to do all that. Claire has a good job now, I'm bad at doing nothing and I'll get a job as soon as I physically can, we'd be fine.”
“I'm still going to. For myself. If I don't, every single morning when I wake up next to you I'm going to be wondering if you're there because you want to be or because you don't think you can leave. I want you to want me.”
“That's just a song,” Leon snorts. He's pretty sure Luis knew what he was doing with that. Leon has felt more emotions in the past 48 hours than he has in years, he needs a fucking break with a conversation that isn't serious. And Luis knows him well enough to tell that he's done. “Not even one of your songs, you're slipping.”
not to the actual sex yet but foreplay and bitches being in love
Leon cringes as Luis finally finds what he's looking for in the suitcase and holds it up triumphantly: the strap-on.
“Luis,” Leon says softly, voice filled with exhaustion and a hint of guilt. “I know that you love bottoming for me, it's my favorite too, but I can't right now. You don't get what it's like having a baby leeching all your energy. Just the thought of holding you down and fucking you is exhausting. Don't want to try you riding me either, shit is just weird and sore. I know it's boring and sucks for you but you're just going to have to be okay only having sex where you're topping while I lay here like a dead fish for a while because it's all I'm up for. I'm sorry–”
“Stop that. Don't apologize,” Luis cuts Leon off, walking over to Leon's side of the bed. He sets the strap-on down and then leans over to wrap his arms around Leon's shoulders. (Because he knows hugging Leon any lower would mean putting pressure on his tender chest.) “I know, mi amor, I know. I know that you're tired and you're more delicate and a lot of the things we like to do are off the table. I had no intention of asking you to peg me, I just had an idea. It won't take any effort on your part, no moving, you just laying there and letting me do the real work.”
“Just tell me what you want to do already.”
“I want to try giving you a blowjob,” Luis lets go of Leon's shoulders and stands up straight again, letting Leon see that his partner is actually blushing, which he doesn't do often. “I mean, only if you want me to. Your wants are more important than mine. If you just want me to make love to you, I'll do that.”
“Holy shit,” While he's been too embarrassed to ask for it, this is something that Leon's thought about. Even when he still thought Luis was an asshole trust fund kid who talked too much, Leon would daydream about shoving him down on his knees and finally shutting him up… “I really want that.”
Leon's excited enough that he musters the energy to get up and put the harness on. But Luis puts his hand down on his shoulder gently, telling him to stay put. “I meant what I said, you're going to lay back and relax while I do all the moving. I'll put it on you. No need for you to waste any of your precious energy getting yourself up.”
Leon lays down and lifts his legs off the bed slightly to indulge Luis. He almost insisted that he was fine and didn't need any help putting it on, but this isn't a hill worth dying on. He can let Luis have a victory feeling useful for a moment.
“Feel like Cinderella,” Leon mutters when Luis pulls the harness up onto his hips. “Having someone put her glass slipper on.”
“If anyone is Cinderella, it's me, I am the one who sings and does all the chores. You're definitely more of a Prince Charming,” Luis says while adjusting the straps so it's snug against Leon's hips. “This good?”
“Loosen it a little? Feel like it's going to irritate my skin, hate how fucking everything is more sensitive now. And I don't think it being too loose will matter as much for this,” Luis follows the instruction. Leon tries to sit up, wanting to adjust some pillows so he can sit up and get a better view of Luis, but once again a gentle hand stops him. “Pillows. I just want to sit up more so I can see your face easier.”
Luis finally lets Leon sit up, and then grabs his own pillow to stack on top of Leon's. “Is this okay? I can go get some pillows from the living room if you need more.”
“This is fine,” Leon says, laying back down, now with the pillows keeping him elevated enough to have a good view. Then he's suddenly overwhelmed by how doting Luis and how much Luis loves him and he clutches the ring he wears on a necklace and almost bursts into tears because everything makes him want to cry because stupid hormones. It might be worse than the nausea, the fact that he's completely lost his once honed ability to be stoic and keep his emotions a secret. But it's okay because Luis loves him and that means all is right in the world. “I love you.”
“I love you more. You're the best thing that ever happened to me,” Luis gets on his hands and knees above Leon. “You're so beautiful. I don't know how patient you're feeling, but I'd like to kiss you more before getting to the cock sucking, if that sounds like an okay plan to you.”
“Go ahead. I'm all yours.”
Luis takes a moment to just run his eyes up and down his lover's body, appreciating all of it and deciding where he wants to kiss. He moves in to kiss Leon's chest, but at the last second remembers he's not allowed to touch there anymore and changes course, instead heading for his neck. Luis used to like biting his neck, but since the pregnancy and, more importantly, the conversations about how rough Krauser was with him, Luis treats Leon like he's made of glass. No more teeth on Leon's neck, just soft lips. Leon didn't mind the biting, but he also doesn't mind this new gentleness and restraint. It's different, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Leon rests his hands on his favorite place, Luis's hips, and closes his eyes, enjoying the sensations, breathing getting just a little bit heavier with each kiss given to him.
