so, first off, let me say that your bujo spreads are gorgeous and a huge inspiration! your entire blog is a delight to see tbh, it's just very positive and i love it! anyway, i wanted to ask: in some of your bujo spreads i noticed something titled "daily map" and i was curious as to what that was? you don't have to answer if it's something personal, but i was just wondering!
hi, sweetheart!!! thank you so much for your kind words; they made my heart so very warm :’) comments like yours give me strength to continue being a positive light! anyways, let me tell you more about my “daily maps” !!
this is a spiraldex; a time management system!
this system originally stems from a chronodex, which was created by patrick ng at scription! the form I use is called a spiraldex which is only slightly different (although I’m not sure who designed this one).
it can look really daunting at first but it’s rather easy to use! imagine the face of a clock. the spiraldex is divided into into 18 hours—from 6 am to midnight. some people use this to track their days as they go. however, I like to use it as a guide or a “map” for the day ahead.
the night before a busy day, I will draw my spiraldex and make a rough draft of the day ahead using colors to represent different activities. for example, the green colored hours in my daily maps represent how long I was at work—8 am to 12 pm. it’s a good way to visualize how your day is going to go in order to be efficient! of course not everything goes to plan but it’s a good way for me to keep myself on track. let me know if you have any other questions! I’m happy to help!!
