Went through a rough patch last couple of weeks, all health and well-being related. Bacterial infection led to strong antibiotics that severely messed with my mind and dehydrated me to the point of exhaustion. Couldn't exercise or do much physical activity. On top of this, I hurt my shoulder and can't fully rotate my arm on my dominant side. All this with all the other personal bullshit going on, along with some on-going work bullshit. Easy to give in to anxiety, paranoia, and depression. So, what did we do to get out of the downward spiral? In short, we changed. We made small changes as much as we could. We changed bed times to earlier so we could get more rest. We changed what we ate, switching to more plant-based, more organic, and higher amounts of protein and fat with less amounts of sugar and carbs. We changed morning routines, adding in morning meditations and time for gratitude for the things we are thankful for. We changed meditation techniques, focusing more on relaxation and releasing tension. We changed tooth brushes and toothpaste, brand of detergent, and body wash. All this small change led to bigger changes. I changed who I allow access to me. I changed my mind to ask for some help and to allow new people who were willing to help into my life. I changed the people I follow on social media and I limited the amount of time i spend staring at my phone overall. I changed. I am changing. And I will continue to change until I figure out what works best for me so that I can move forward. We will try, we will fail, we may relapse, but we must try again. Spiral upwards, not downwards, meaning learn from your mistakes and try again, don't give up. We must keep trying until we get it right. Don't give up, fam. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and try again. Love & Aloha~WM #dontgiveup #spiralupward #upwardspiral #change #learn #grow #aloha https://www.instagram.com/p/B28oUjcARnw/?igshid=1o8o31ysstw5p
