Spalding has gotten so big; I swear he’s doubled in size since I got him!!! The pet store said he was about 7 months when I got him, so he should be about 9 months now. He’s about 2 ½ to 3 inches long.  I love him so much!!!!

He eats so many crickets I had to get a bigger cricket keeper. He’s learned to associate the tongs with food, and I’ve learned how not to jump in surprise when he grabs them. He hasn’t quite gotten the idea to let go of the tongs once he gets hold of them though! 

He’s going to need a new cage soon, so I’m saving up for a bigger Exoterra. I want to get it and set it up as a bioactive, let it establish, and then move him in. I hope to get that going soon, he’s growing so fast he’s going to need it!
