The warm air could be felt everywhere she went. The sun’s rays shone down lazily upon the land. Mingzhu sighed as she made her way to a tree where she usually spent her time under. She was bored and she had no plans for the day.

Upon nearing the bench under the tree, she saw a man. It seems like she hasn’t seen him before. He appeared to be indulged in something. A scroll. He was reading a scroll. Possibly just a scholar studying. She sat on the available space on the bench, some inches away from the man, and leaned her back against the backrest of the bench. She didn’t let the chance of glancing at the man’s scroll from time to time, yet she still could not figure out what he was reading.
