At the mention, Donnie leaned back from his technology magazine — they found it in their most recent rummaging spree — and laughed long and loud.
“Yeah! Oh wow, isn’t it ridiculous? As if we have the resources or power supply to construct a hulking monstrosity like that!”

Long brown-blonde hair blowing in the breeze behind her, Aislinn swerved and drifted to turn into the next sewer line on her skates, fingers barely touching the metal of a pipe, then she continued on her path to the guys’ lair. Today she wore her usual white shirt and forest green jeans, but she also had a jacket to match, too. Her round and youthful face was beaming, as she had a cheerful aura about her. The fourteen year old teen’s hazel green eyes widened a bit in excitement at the sight of a rail coming, then she smirked; She quickly leaped up and grinded along it gracefully, then did a little spin as she landed back onto the concrete, continuing on her way. Within moments, she reaches a dead end. She swerved again, but this time to halt her skating, her wheels giving out a small screech at the sudden stop.
She removed her helmet, shaking her hair a bit so her messy bangs fell just above her eyebrows now, a black hairband decorated on her head. With a click of her heels, the wheels on her black and white sneakers also retracted into the soles. Donnie had made them for her a few years back, and still they ran as smoothly as ever. Reaching towards a nearby pipe, she pulled it back.
A small shaking could be seen happening on the wall, until it soon revealed a secret passageway that led to her friends’ home. She walks inside, taking in the view of the living room and rooms above, smiling; She then noticed Donnie wasn’t at his lab as he usually was, and Raph’s workout gear and punching bag were missing their hotheaded user. Mikey was also missing from the spot where he usually played his video games. She couldn’t help but roll her eyes a bit at how he’d left the place, and decides to pick up a few of his comics for him, placing them on the table in front of the TV.
She then notices the door to the practice room was open slightly, which could only mean the only one turtle was not absent. After putting her helmet down in the arm of the couch, she walks over to it. She opens it up a bit more and peers through, wondering if Leo was practicing inside.
