Time to catch up!

She'd delved into her work after she'd left Valentine - after all she'd lost way too many hours, sleeping in his bed, uaaah! 

Besides it distracted her nicely... or that's what she'd hoped for. Of course she still had to review the experiences she'd made there on the Wolf's Astral Plane, so it was just natural those memories would keep popping up in her head to remind as a little reminder, right? But... but... the most intrusive memories were those of either a very nude or very sleepy, cuddly Wolf..... or of the sensation of his soft fur and body-heat and....

ARGH! How was she supposed to get ANY work done like this!? Stupid, haunting canine!

In the early evening hours she decided that she needed a... more talkaktive, living, breathing distraction then her work. Oh, and she hadn't seen Regs in a while now, only bothering her digitally, because of her rather insane workload as of late - thanks to that new job thing. Sooooo...... time to visit Spots, then! Grabbing her phone she texted her:

[You ARE home tonight, aren't you? My calendar says you are because it's your day/night off -  so don't make it a liar! I'll be over... with food? Yes???]

He'd been watching the little creature for quite a while now. An ocelot with two tails in the middle of a city, on the prowl in a park. A night-predator, just like the vampire. 

And he hadn't only watched, he'd slid right into her mind, seing through her eyes - and other senses as well - and covering up his own precense by 'deleting' that information from her brain. It had been an amusing game for a little while, but now he himself creeped up on the little hunter, grabbing her at the neck and lifting her up to stare staight into her eyes. Shock widened her pupils and made her his and spit, ears layed back and whiskers spread, her claws trying to give him pain. But he easily held her out of reach and the few scratches he got basically healed before he even noticed them. "Fierce, aren't you?"

Our muses are locked out and have to keep busy in the cold until someone else arrives to let them in.

Darcy was trapped outside her building. Apparently there'd been some kind of security snafu and they'd changed the locks, leaving notices and new keys in all the mailboxes.

Unfortunately Darcy was horrible at checking her mail.

So now she was huddled on the frozen New York sidewalk with another woman she'd never met, waiting for someone, anyone, to come home and open the door and let them in.

"This is totally how I wanted to spend the afternoon. Freezing my damn tits off."

All of a sudden Cora felt dizzy and... a strange... that was magic, right? The next moment she tasted blood in her mouth - blood of the woman who'd just caught her up in that tree. But the tree was gone, they were in an alley instead and...

She spat the blood out and let go of Regina. "What.... woah, jinxed!?"

Catwatch

Cora has been watching the other shifter for a while now - from a safe distance of course, clad in her feathery coat and studying her from rooftops, radio masts and other high places, her wings carrying her from one viewing spot to the next. It was always exciting to meet another shifter and lern more about him or her. But of course she was a bit wary of meeting a cat - she was a bird, after all. So she studied her from the distance - for the time being. Yet she already felt compelled to get closer... hmmm... that fence over there?? And besides, the cat wouldn't EAT her when they were both in human for, would she? And Cora was sly and swift - and able to flee into the otherworld, if needed...
