Writer Adam Glass mentioned that the crew started crying while they were shooting the window scene where Dean smiled through his tears looking at Sammy 🥹

spn bad boys trivia says that apparently dean was supposed to be 14 but since the actor looked older they changed that in post-production so that means everything that happened (dean stealing bc his little brother (who in this scenario would be 10) was hungry, john leaving him to "rot in jail" in his words, dean sacrificing his chance of a normal life for sam) was written and filmed and acted with the idea that dean was 14

Still on 09x07 Bad Boys currently bc I can't concentrate on one thing at once or something but like

This show makes me feel INSANE

This boy had dreams, he didn't like hunting, he wanted to be a rock star and a mechanic and just live a normal boring non-supernatural life and you know what happened instead he just had 37 years of straight up trauma and then died before he even got to live
