Cas being so hyper-aware of Dean’s sleeping and morning habits in the episode Tombstone is so funny to me. That episode really shows a lot of how there’s several things Dean and Cas do off screen, because aside from the movie night mention, we’ve never seen Cas witness Dean being woken up abruptly to know to tell Jack not to do that, we’ve seen him watch Dean sleep like twice before but it’s possible he’d done it more, and also how many times have we seen Cas be around Dean in the mornings like that? He knows that Dean is an angry sleeper, he knows that Dean needs his coffee before working, and he knows all about Dean’s love for cowboys.

Cas pays attention to Dean, it shows how fond he is of Dean.

And Dean loves that, this is the episode that Cas came back to life after 5 episodes of Dean being absolutely defeated and depressed by his death. This episode displays how much Cas had become a pillar in Dean’s life and a true key to his happiness
