misha’s good idea show literally had me crying by the end 🥹 like i thought i was gonna be ok to meet him tmrw bc i haven’t gotten starstruck at all yet and i’ve met a few of the actors in the vendors room?? but now i’m thinking about how his mental health journey parallels mine and how his dedication to finding beauty in everything has made ME do that which has subsequently made me far far happier….
one of the last things he talked about was standing in his driveway and looking out on the valley on a beautiful summer day and thinking, “what a lucky life.” and brother i SOBBED
I can't get over Misha's face in my new photo op😭💕

Can I just talk for a minute about how much I adore Supernatural?
I know that the fandom as a whole is kinda “stop beating a dead horse” about this show now. Fourteen seasons is a long time, and a lot of people just want it to end.
I don’t. Not really. The only reason I’d like it to end is because the poor actors deserve a break, they’ve given their blood and sweat and tears to this creative endeavour for... well, their whole lives, almost. Fourteen years is a long, long time. So if it ends, I’ll be happy, if only because the actors and creators get to rest.
But the show itself - I would be happy if it went on for eternity.
There are problems with it, sure, but by god, this show has done so much for me and meant so much to me and is still so, so good with characters that make me feel things and teach me things and remind me of things.
This show was what kept me from suicide a long time ago.
This show gave me the drive to try and mend my relationship with my brother.
This show, again and again, taught and reminded me of loyalty, family, courage, sacrifice, forgiveness, redemption, perseverance... this show gave me a family when my own didn’t seem to care, not in the fans per se but in the characters themselves.
And in the fans too. One of my dearest friends, Breda, I met at my very first Supernatural convention. She’s one of the biggest reasons I had the courage to come out of the closet, to change my life, to make a difference, to pursue things I had once been too afraid to pursue. She’s there for me no matter what, and I know that if I called her in the middle of the night, in need of a shoulder to cry on or a ride to somewhere, she would be there. Hell, when I went to the Houston convention, she was there for me when I was homesick and emotional, without fail.
I never would have met her if I hadn’t been a part of this show. I never would have made the steps to change my life.
This show changes lives, and it’s still so beautiful even with all its faults. It’s shaped my life into something better, given me strength to go on. Not just the show and the characters but the actors as well.
Timothy Omundson, well, I talk about his effect on my life as well. He’s changed my life just by existing.
Jared Padalecki’s talks on depression and about how difficult acting is have been sources of comfort for so long. Misha Collins and his drive to make the world a better place, to make others be more kind, Jensen and his talks on anxiety, Rob Benedict’s strength in dealing with being a stroke survivor, Richard Speight’s incessant humour and the way he looks out for others...
This cast is remarkable. This cast is changing the world, and not because of the show. Just because of their own hearts and lives.
I’m rambling now but I just. I love this show so much, and I don’t think people quite know how much it’s changed my life. I talk about it a lot, but I never really talk about how, you know, I’m alive because of it, I’m who I am because of it, I’m not as horrible a person because of it.
Supernatural means so much to me and I know it’s not a popular opinion, but if it went on forever, I wouldn’t be upset at all.
This creation has moved my world around and given me the courage to live life and I will never stop being thankful for that. And I will never stop loving the characters, not because of what they did for me, but because of the life the actors bring them.
I love this show, faults be damned. And I’m so grateful it exists.
