10x03 Soul Survivor
For the most part, any of the scenes not in the Men of Letters bunker felt like the writers were gently nudging the characters around a game board, settling them into place for a story they don’t even know the ending to. It makes this episode feel like I’m trudging through quicksand.
Before I read what anyone else has to say on SPN10x03
I have mixed feelings about a lot of what happened in this ep
Like Cas's sudden yet temporary fix
The demon suicider
Adena's there why?
Cas and Hannah's conversation: I though he meant that he wants Hannah to stop getting them lost on deliberately chosen wrong routes... How is Hannah so human-speak savvy? They're throwing phrases around like it's chocolate
I like Crowley's claim of not being sentimental, that was well done, and we almost believe him
Dean and Cas's conversation at the end was kind of lacklustre?
I loved Dean stalking Sam, and "in the process of being cured" Dean
But was he slightly amnesic when he resurfaced?
SPN 10x03 Soul Survivor
The bad:
Dean knows what Lester's wife did after finding herself a widow? I'm just gonna headcanon that he's making shit up, because this episode takes place like five minutes after Reichenbach.
Crowley's underlings losing confidence in him because he's executing demons... um... what did the previous leadership of hell do, then?
Busty Asian Beauties again, siiiiiiigh.
"There's a female in the car" really? really?
I guess that was new character [spoiler] in the final scene? I'm kind of meh about it.
The good:
Everything else. I enjoyed it, it had some unexpected bits (Crowley), and I believe it accomplished everything it needed to do.
Jensen's acting.
Castiel letting down Hannah.
the I-give-up:
Dean/Crowley.
this week's score:
B
"A female"
Well, now I know for a fact Hannah is only there for romantic interest.
Where the fuck is our brother hug and Baby/Dean makeup scene?!
AND THAT WAS ONLY THE SNEAK PEEK
OMFG
I WONT SURVIVE THE EPISODE
