My photo ops from JaxCon! Minus my Jared op because I have to get it in the mail! But I had such an amazing time and I love these men so much. They have made my life so much better by leaps and bounds and I adore them. I am forever thankful for their kindness and patience.
Dearest Jensen Ackles, you absolutely do not deserve any of the hatred coming your way. You don’t deserve any hate for having a mind of your own, for having an opinion of your own, for having a perspective of your own, for believing in what you think is right, for believing in what you believe in, for voicing your opinions or thoughts especially when you’re prompted to, for having a set of beliefs or preferences of your own, for having understood a character you have been playing for over 10 years on a show you have been working on for so long, for stating what you think about your show or basically, for just being yourself. You just said what you said about a fictional relationship within the context of a show you’re working on. General opinion or not, you deserve for no hatred for it. You were respected and loved and you still are.
Just as each one of us is entitled to our own opinion, just as each one of us can have a mind of our own, just as each one of us can have preferences of our own, just as we’re free to make the choices that we do, just as we reserve the right to be ourselves, so does Jensen. Jensen’s opinion or thoughts doesn’t negate yours and your opinion and thoughts doesn’t negate his. What he believes in doesn’t invalidate your beliefs and what you believe in doesn’t invalidate his beliefs, whether it’s about a character or a show, or an issue or anything in general. When we demand respect and freedom to be ourselves, we ought to give the same respect and freedom to everyone else. Hate is not the answer, toxicity isn’t right way to express ourselves, please let’s just be kind to each other and not spread hate of any kind. Anywhere, to anyone.

Highlight of my con!! Walked up and showed Jared the apron, he stepped back and full body laughed before grabbing the apron and putting it on, even tying the back ties (one of the volunteers warned me it would be only be the neck strap). He pulled me in, we took the photo and then he hugged me! He asked if I was a Gilmore Girls fan and I told him “of course, it’s how I found you!” He thanked me (called me sweetheart) and handed back the apron!
I’d been planning this op for months and it was everything I’d hoped for and more!!
