rob: it's funny because the way you play it is so understated too. you're not like- you just don't overdo it. you're like "i'm sorry, i thought- sorry, [thought] that we had a connection"
adam: yeah! cause you wanna believe that like, this guy is really just like making eyes at dean, you know?
rob: and it's so much so that it makes dean
adam: flustered!
rob: yes! not uncomfortable like "ooh a gay a thing" uncomfortable that's more like "uh i don't know h- uh- thank you?"
adam: bashful!
rob: yeah, bashful!
adam: and honestly that moment right there, that introduction to my character was such a big part of why it had such an impact on the audience. because it was the first time i think they'd ever seen dean get flustered like that. and especially because it was sort of like a potentially, like, gay relationship thing happening. and people just like went nuts for it, you know?
