Thinking that he didn't see you, you walked quickly towards the exit, towards the place where life is. Finally, he wouldn't be able to keep you under surveillance.
While your hope was blooming, you bumped into a body that suddenly appeared in front of you and you fell back. He caught you by the arm as you were about to touch the ground. You looked up and saw it was him, Spock. He raised an eyebrow and smiled at you. "Were you going somewhere?"
"Let me go!" You sighed and tried to pull your arm from Spock. He didn't loosen his tight grip and dragged you. When you finally got to his room, he let you in and closed the door behind you.
"You will stay here until I return from my mission, I don't let you walk around alone. It's very dangerous, especially for someone who's so defenseless and uncapable of thinking logical like you."
"No, you have no right to-"
"Don't bother to object, I won't change my decision and you're going to tire yourself for nothing."
You hit the door when you heard the click sound, telling him to open it but he didn't listen. He waited for you to run out of rage, then told you how to find everything you might need when he's gone.
Maybe the word 'fear' and Spock(aos) ? I really like how you wrote him in your 12 days of Christmas work!
Thank you! 'm glad you liked it! <3 I hope you like this one too.

Fear
- - -
You took in a deep breath, and let it out as softly and slowly as you could. The distant sound of phaser fire sent jolts of anxiety through your body. Your arm was searing with pain from where you had previously been hit.
Hidden behind the tall pillar, you cursed yourself for having lost your Star Fleet communicator. You were lost, in the dark, and had no idea where anyone was. You were alone. And you were afraid.
The fear flowed through you as you moved slowly down the corridor, your eyes flicking to every dark corner, to every possible entrance, as you stepped as silently as you could. 'Where is everyone?' You thought to yourself.
You got separated from Spock and Jim when you were ambushed. Even though you were afraid for our own well-being, you feared for them as well. Especially Spock.
Hearing the sound of running footsteps growing closer, you paused, looking around, you saw no where to hide or cover yourself. Pushing down the fear you took a deep breath and pointed your phaser, ready to fight.
As the oncoming figure bolted around the corner, you jumped back, and within the second they appeared, your fear quickly turned to relief.
Spock, upon seeing you standing in front of him, alive, though obviously injured, let out a relieved sigh, his own fear of having lost you dissipating. The two of you stepped towards each other and embraced, both of you letting out your anxious sighs.
Pulling away, Spock reached down and gripped our hand, "Come, we need to get to the evacuation point."
Nodding, you began to flee, hand in hand, but both still cautious of your surroundings, but braver together than you had felt before.
A/n: so I’m currently recovering from a tornado that happened a month and a half ago. So this is mostly for my comfort. More so what I would think, or hope Spock would say to me in my current situation.
“Y/n, may I speak with you?” Spock asks, motioning for me to sit beside him on the patio.
“Yes sir, is there anything wrong?” I ask.
“Not at all. I just wish to comment on your demeanor towards your current situation. Where the loss of one’s belongings is catastrophic to most humans, as you humans are attached to objects, you however have a demeanor of strength and wisdom, barely flinching at the devastation.” He states. He was right, us humans grow so much attachment to inanimate objects.
“Well,” I sigh. “To be honest, I released most of my emotions a few weeks ago. I mean it still bothers me to no end. I have PTSD episodes when the emergency alert system goes off for a test. But as far as actually losing everything, it’s just stuff. They make new things every day. I choose to count my blessings. I have family, I have my animals, I have faith. I have all I need. I mean the clean up has been very emotional, but I’m trying to be 100% involved because it’s part of the process. I want to be as involved in rebuilding my life as possible.” I feel as though my explanation might be winded.
“I must say, I have gained much more respect for you. You could be angry, or negative, but you choose to be an optimist… it fascinates me.” I could swear I almost saw the corner of his mouth twitch up a bit.
“Well I think you would find me highly illogical. I’ve shared plenty of anger, and sorrow, and negativity. I can’t see how that makes me strong.” I doubt myself.
“You are strong because you did not let the pain overcome you. I believe that if you can recover from such tragedy, that you can survive in Starfleet, once life settles for you, of course.” He finishes.
“Thank you, sir.” Wait? Did he just compliment me? A compliment from a Vulcan, now I really have something to look forward to.
Can I get 75 and 123 with Spock?Something like a hot shower scene pretty please. Oh, And Happy New Year, wish you all the best.
Sure thing and thank you! Enjoy!

You sighed in relief as you shut your apartment door behind you. The day had been long and tedious helping Kirk fill out requisition forms for the Enterprise. She was due to go back to space in five weeks and final preparations were underway. “Spock?” you called, surprised your boyfriend hadn’t already greeted you.
Getting no response, you headed deeper into the apartment. You quickly caught the sound of running water and smiled. He must have just gotten home himself. As you moved through the bedroom, you stripped out of your clothes so by the time you reached the attached bath, you were nude.
“Mind if I join you?” you asked as you opened the door.
Spock snapped around, his eyes wide and water running down his face.
You smirked as you ran your eyes over him. Entering the shower, you shut the door behind you and stepped into Spock’s embrace. His hands slid around your waist and pulled you closer. Placing your hands on his chest, you smiled up at him. “Did I scare you, big boy?”
“Being scared would be illogical. I was merely startled by the unexpected interruption.”
You nodded and pursed your lips. “Oh, I see.” You slid your hands along his skin and looped them together behind his neck. Pulling him toward you, you brushed your lips against his.
His grip tightened as he gave a low moan.
“I could always leave.” Your lips brushed against his with every word.

You woke up quickly from an unpleasant dream and rubbed your eyes tiredly. You were a lot warmer than you were when you fell asleep. The time was unclear, seeing as you were in space and didn’t have sunlight to tell it. You needed to check your clock.
As you began to sit up, you felt a weight on your abdomen and you gasped. Spock had came in to your quarters sometime after you fell asleep and joined you in bed. That part wasn’t what shocked you, though. What shocked you was the fact that in his sleep he had instinctively held you. He was never much of a cuddler, and when he did cuddle you it was awkward and forced.
He looked relaxed now, though. Forgetting your mission to check the time, you slowly sunk back below the covers, trying not to wake the sleeping Vulcan beside you.
His mouth was opened slightly and his hair was tousled from rolling on the pillow. The more you thought of it, the more you realized that you had never seen him this relaxed before. His arm was still curled around your abdomen and he gripped at your shirt, pulling you closer.
If you didn't know any better you’d think that he was awake. He never did this when he was awake, though. He had to be asleep.
You brought your hand up to his face, brushing his hair out of the way so you could see him better. His eyebrows furrowed together as he slowly woke.
“Y/n?” He spoke, his voice groggy with sleep.
“I didn’t mean to wake you,” You mumbled, pulling your hand away.
You watched his expression change as he realized the position he was in.
“I apologize,” He said, pulling his hand away from you almost instantly. He rubbed at his eyes tiredly and you had to refrain from gushing out loud. It was a lot colder without him holding you, though.
“Don’t apologize,” You smiled, cupping his face with your hand again, “You warmed me up,”
He let you lean forward and kiss the tip of his nose quickly. The corner of his mouth lifted slightly as he watched you blush. He was always more emotional when he was sleepy.
“Hold me,” You mumbled, burying your face into the crook of his neck. He quickly obliged, both arms finding their way around you. You felt him bury his face into your hair and sigh contently.
You didn’t get emotions from Spock often, but when you did it was pure euphoria.
Having to keep your relationship a secret from the crew | Spock x Reader

“Just be careful.”
“I plan on doing that, Ensign.”
You had to fight the urge to hold his hand as you walked towards the transporter room. The Captain had asked Spock to join the away mission and of course he eagerly agreed. This was probably one of the most difficult parts of being in a secret relationship as you wouldn’t be able to ask the bridge for updates on how the mission was going as it would be too personal. The last thing you both needed was the crew being suspicious. When you first became official Spock had requested that the relationship be kept a secret from the crew as he didn’t want people acting differently since he was in a higher position on the ship than you and you didn’t want the crew thinking you slept your way to get here. But it meant some form of emotional control since you weren’t able to touch or speak to him freely.
You couldn’t help but feel sick at the thought of him in an away mission. It was part of his job and you respected that, but that didn’t stop the knowledge that he was going to be in danger. But what could you do? Babysit him while he was working? That wouldn’t be fun for either of you and besides Starfleet didn’t pay you for enough for that. The thought made you smile slightly as the doors swished open to reveal Kirk chatting enthusiastically whereas McCoy looked like a child being dragged to school. You went over to the transporter panel, putting in the coordinates with Spock conveniently staying close besides you.
“I want you to know,” his voice extremely quiet as Kirk was too occupied teasing McCoy. “that I love you.” You felt your body tingle as his soft words washed over you, if only you could both say such a phrase openly in front of others. Spock had his back against the away party giving you the chance to quickly grab his hand, whispering “I love you too.” He smiled warmly at you as Kirks voice broke your interaction.
“Spock if you’re too busy flirting with the young Ensign, we can always leave you onboard. We wouldn’t want you mentally distracted.” His hand slipped out of yours as he went towards the transport pads. Kirk made you worry the most that he would find out about your secret relationship as he was tough to deceive.
“That won’t be necessary, Captain. I am more than mentally able to be going on this mission.”
“You don’t deny the flirting part though.”
You could feel your face going red, keeping your eyes locked to the control panel trying not to give him anymore cause of suspicion. Though you could sense how uncomfortable Spock was which only made you want to hug him.
“I didn’t see the logic in addressing something so absurd.” His voice almost made you chuckle at how sassy he sounded. You could hear McCoy nagging at Kirk to hurry up which made you raise your head.
“Ready, Captain?” Your voice didn’t give anything way as you tried to bury the worry inside your stomach.
Kirk nodded, “Energize.” As you activated the transport your eyes met Spocks for a brief second before their figures completely disappeared. You let out a deep sigh that you hadn’t been aware of holding in.
It was almost impossible to focus on your work as all you could do was glance at the time. It had been several hours since they had left. Thankfully you were alone, unconsciously fiddling with the necklace that Spock had gifted you which offered some comfort. Not being able to hold back you asked “Computer, where is the location of Lieutenant Spock?”
“Mr Spock is currently located in sickbay.” What?! You froze in your seat as the words sunk in. Why is he in sickbay? Maybe it was just a routine check-up that McCoy wanted after they had got back. You glanced at the time again, you still had 2 hours until the end of your shift and it would be too difficult to convince Scotty that you had to leave. Your colleague suddenly sat down beside you, making you quickly hide the necklace under your uniform. There was no way you could wait until the end of the shift. Your heart was racing with the possibilities, what if he was seriously injured?! Without wanting to waste another second you rushed up from your seat and made your way to sickbay.
You could be accountable to Scotty later but your mind was so foggy that you couldn’t keep the act of playing cool anymore. Normally Spock and yourself would only meet in the evenings, taking it in turns to stay in each other quarters and wake up early to avoid being seen. You confidently walked into sickbay looking around rapidly to try to find your boyfriend. The intense feeling of worry increased as you couldn’t help but think that Spock would be angry at your suddenly burst into sickbay but he would have done the same if the roles were reversed.
“What are you doing here?” A familiar southern accent knocked you out of your rapid thinking, turning around you saw McCoy looking at you with questioning gaze.
“I-I-I well,” you couldn’t form a single sentence, your brain was officially going into overload.
“Well I need you to get out.” Smug git. He tugged on your shoulder leading you towards the door.
“Doctor, I need to see Spock.” His eyebrow raised when he heard your request as he had never heard you address Spock so informally.
“The Lieutenant is currently being seen to by Nurse Chapel. I can’t allow you to see him”
“No please I need to see him,” raising your voice as your distress increased. You couldn’t stand it anymore.
McCoy’s patience was now growing extremely thin, “I don’t see why that would be necessary,” even though you knew he wasn’t aware of your relationship his words still cut deep. “Besides, I believe Scotty is expecting you in engineering. Leave now.” But you refused to budge, suddenly playing a staring contest with the Doctor as he tried to calculate the real purpose of your visit.
“Well if I need to remind you, only family and those close to the patient are free to see him.”
“I am close to him.”
“He’s your superior.”
“He’s my boyfriend!” Both his eyes and your mouth went wide as you finally said what you had wanted to for months. He is mine.
“He’s…he’s your what?” McCoy’s eyebrows were almost touching as his face was filled of confusion, “Ensign I don’t think you’re well right now. I’m telling Mr Scott you are no longer fit for duty, I’m booking you in for an appointment-“
“I don’t need a bloody appointment.” It was all or nothing at this point. You weren’t going to let the doctor prevent you from seeing your boyfriend. Without thinking you pulled the necklace from your uniform and showed him it.
“Spock gave this to me. It’s a gift.”
“Ensign, I’m worried-“
“You can scan it. It’s a rare Vulcan mineral called Vokaya and he gave this to me on our anniversary. I couldn’t just make this up. Besides have I ever showed a medical history of walking into sickbay and demanding to see random patients?!” McCoy glanced at the necklace, he couldn’t identify the origin of it but he started to think it through. Everyone knew Spock was an extremely private person and he rarely gave any personal information.
“Doctor, I would appreciate it if you would permit my girlfriend to see me.” The two of you turned around to see Spock looking frail and tired in bed. Forgetting about McCoy you rushed over to him, wrapping your hands in his. He had a large cut on his forehead and judging by his eyes you could tell he was in a lot of pain. He was probably trying to suppress it as he was surrounded by the crew right now.
“Are you okay? Didn’t I tell you to be careful?” your hand now stroked his face while your eyes starting to tear up. You noticed he was wearing a white gown and caught sight of his uniform on a chair besides the bed, it was ripped up and stained with his green blood.
“I was careful.”
“Yeah, it looks like it.”
“Is this the best time for sarcasm, my love?” He offered you a small smile even though he was struggling, it warmed your heart. Realisation rushed over you as the situation began to sink in, you began to think of a way to apologise to him.
“I’m so sorry, Spock! I had to see you. I know you’ve been on away missions before but this is the first time I’ve seen you in sickbay.” Tears were now flowing freely from your eyes, you couldn’t help but think that you might have lost him. His hand cupped your cheek as his thumb wiped away your tears, “Shhh don’t cry. I’m not angry with you.”
“I had no idea you two were an item.” You turned around, poor McCoy looked like he needed to see Nurse Chapel himself.
“Does personal relationships need to be made official to you, Doctor?”
“No. Though how did you two manage to-”
“Then I believe we can avoid any unnecessary debate on the matter.” Spock interrupted him, though his comment made you chuckle. McCoy rolled his eyes as Kirk entered sickbay which instantly made you nervous. You were about to stand up but Spock had a firm grip on your hand which kept you besides him.
“Well, I’d never thought I’d see the day.” Kirk commented with a grin, clearly enjoying the new discovery.
“That he got hurt on a mission or that he has a girlfriend?” McCoy teased making Kirk playfully hit him on the back. It made you feel better seeing them laughing since maybe it meant Kirk wasn’t going to be angry with you.
“Even if something had happened to me,” his fingers went around the pendant of your necklace which made you turn your focus back onto him, “I would always be with you.” You raised an eyebrow at how emotional he was being in front of his friends. Maybe he did need rest right now to recover as it did look like he had suffered a nasty bump to the head.
“I wouldn’t have taken you for an old romantic, Spock.”
“Doctor, I think rest would be most beneficial right now.” Spock narrowed his eyes at the two and it was the first time you had seen some annoyance on his face. You raised his hand to your lips and gently kissed it, which made him smile again.
McCoy nodded, “for once I’m going to agree. Jim, he’s going to be fine after a day’s rest. For now, it would be best if we limit the visitors for our favourite Vulcan to recieve.” Kirk quickly told Spock that he hoped he got better soon and smiled towards you. McCoy came forward and gave Spock a hypospray on his upper arm which you took as a cue to leave. You were about to stand up when the doctor stopped you, “however I think it would be best if you stayed with him. It would benefit Spock having you close by.”
“That would be wise, Thank you.” Spock almost smiled at McCoy which almost put you into shock yourself. The Doctor left the two of you alone and it almost felt alien being so open with Spock without being in your quarters.
“How are you feeling?”
“I am feeling an increase in stability since you have arrived.” You smirked at his usual logical phrase and straightened out his bangs.
“I think the care of Dr McCoy has helped the most.” Spocks eyes slowly started to flutter shut and his grip on your hand weakened significantly. You wrapped your arm around him so he could rest his head on your chest. That’s when you knew the medication was taking affect as his worries of others staring at your affection were gone.
“No, I can confirm you can take all of the credit instead of the Doctors rather terrible bedside manner.” He mumbled before drifting off to sleep in your arms.

Spock’s dark eyes remained unmoving from the viewscreen, steely but unthreatening towards the Romulan commanders who were displayed upon it.
Surak was testing him.
“I’m sure an agreement can be reached,” Jim said, lilted with reason. He’d known little of Nero’s people when they’d faced off and even less of the true Romulan Empire on the whole, but he was certain this encounter was not a good sign.
“That is a hope, Captain,” the commander said. “But you must know that learning of the reason our technology was used in the destruction of Vulcan means that we cannot allow your Commander Spock to continue working freely in the Federation. We will not harm your crew if you send him over without issue.”
Jim gripped the arms of his chair, “That’s not an option, either.”
“Captain,” Spock said, “perhaps if it will prompt the Romulans to release us, it would be wise to send me to their ship for the time being.”
“A logical conclusion, Commander,” one of the Romulans nodded at Spock. “As expected.”
“Spock,” Jim said seriously. “We don’t trade lives. That’s not how this works.”
“The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few,” the Vulcan sternly responded.
“We have no idea what they might do to you out there!”
“You seem to be having a conflict of agreement,” one of the Romulans noted. “Perhaps we might be able to assist in alleviating that disagreement.”
Spock’s eyes widened only slightly as he was enveloped by light, but he did not move to a stance that might promote violence when he realized he was no longer on the bright and familiar bridge of the Enterprise, but on the dim and faintly green main command of the Romulan ship.

A/N: I’ve always been nervous to write about Spock as I thought he’d be too complex so this is my first try, hope you like it :) Requests are open!
Spock was staring at his PADD as he walked towards his quarters. Even though the days work was quite satisfactory he was looking forward to getting peace from the crew’s unnecessary chatter. He hadn’t seen you all day and was wanting to discuss the progress of your work, he always looked forward to spending quality time with you in the evenings. Spock walked into your shared quarters and turned off his PADD, getting ready for your usual greetings when he caught a glance of the scenario in front of him.
Well this was unexpected.
There you were, his girlfriend lying on the couch looking…rather unusual. There was a white paste covering your face that gave you an almost deathly complexion. Spock couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, pondering the purpose of this substance.
“Hello Spock! Did you have a good day?” Her voice was cheerful so the paste couldn’t have been a treatment for an illness.
“Spock?”, you questioned as he normally responded to you straight away. You had started to fear that maybe a stranger had walked in on your DIY spa day. Granted it was never a gracious process when you waited for your face mask to dry down, carefully you removed one of the cucumber slices to see your boyfriend looking puzzled.
“Bones didn’t give you something weird, did he?”
“It would be illogical to assume that I would let the Doctor do such a thing.”
“Then why do you look so confused?” The second your words left your mouth his face straightened out to the deadpan expression you had grown to love.
“I am not confused.” Spock sat down still observing your current state. Was this a new fashion trend that was popular among the humans? “…I am merely curious.” The clay was getting tighter which means you could wash it off soon. You had just rediscovered your love for face masks even though it may be viewed as an old-fashioned method to help your skin, it gave you an odd comfort.
“It’s a cosmetic product, new type of foundation.” You decided teasing him would be more amusing than explaining the reasoning behind it. You could hear his brain working overtime to digest the new information. He failed to see why you would need such a product but didn’t want to pry too heavily.
“I see…”, you wanted to laugh at the cuteness of his voice. It made him even more adorable when he didn’t realise he was being played with. He didn’t always get your sarcasm but the more time he spent with the crew the more he picked up on human mannerisms.
“Do you think it makes me look pretty?” Removing both of the cucumber slices you gave Spock a grin, feeling the now dried clay cracking around your lips. There was no doubt you looked like an absolute mess.
“Judging someone as pretty is very subjective, besides haven’t I previously commented that I find you attractive?”
“But does this make me look pretty?”
“…Yes.” What?! The cheeky little so and so! The clay mask was now starting to flake onto your clothes, time to wash it off.
“Well if it makes me look better, I’ll wear it to our next date.”
“You have complete control over your appearance. I have no input on the matter.” Scoffing you slid off the sofa and head your way to the bathroom. He couldn’t be serious that he found you attractive looking this like. You glanced in the mirror to see that your skin was a deathly white colour which was as dry as the Vulcans planet surface. Turning on the tap you quickly washed the clay off and dried your face with a towel, Spock was never a classic romantic. You began chuckling into the towel as you found it harder to keep up the act.
“Why are you laughing?” Spock tilted his head, “As Jim would say, ‘are you pulling my leg?’” The phrase caught you by surprise and your laughter was now replaced by choking, he always got you when you least expected it.
“Yes! I am.” Holding your stomach to calm your breathing. Gosh you can’t wait to tell Uhura of this moment you thought to yourself, she’ll have a field day. Spock almost had a proud expression on his face at executing the phrase correctly.
“May I ask what you are actually doing?”
“What am I doing? It’s called self-care!” it dawned on you that he probably didn’t understand the full context of self-care. “Well…it means I’m wanting to pamper myself. It’s nice to take time out without worrying about other people. This clay is meant to help clear your skin and besides the process is relaxing.” After a few seconds of silence you had gathered he understood what you were trying to say.
“I said you looked pretty to…avoid hurting your feelings,” his voice was soft as was his gaze. A smile crept its way onto your lips, clinging the slightly damp towel to your chest. You wanted to laugh at his attempt to avoid upsetting you, Vulcans never lie but perhaps his human side was stronger on this occasion.
“Come here,” you whispered while wrapping your arms around his neck pulling him closer to you. His hands automatically rested on your hips while your eyes fluttered shut at his scent.
“Maybe I could get you a face mask, Spock. Dare I say you might find it enjoyable.”
He pulled away from your embrace to tell you that it would be illogical for such a process as his skin was without blemish. However, when he saw your bright smile and hopeful eyes his voice spoke a different sentence than his mind had planned.
