His momma is his hero. She worked two jobs to keep them fed and clothed, took care of him when he was sick and went down fighting to a disease that slowly bleed her dry.
♡ - romantic headcanon
As according to Chris Evans, Cap is the perfect date; he pays for dinner, he opens all the doors and he’s got you home before curfew. He also kisses generously enough it makes your knees wobble and he whispers deliciously filthy things into your ear so when the doors slam behind you, you still have a flush on your face.
★ - sad headcanon
he doesn’t sleep a lot, because sleep means remembering a familiar face twisted into a silent scream and a hand outstretched to remind him that for all the serums he wasn’t strong enough

He draws a lot, more and more as the days go by and he settles into the world he's been dropped in. The sketches he does of the New York skyline help him remember what it was like before and the drawings he does of people on the street reveal the kindness hidden beneath their harried expressions.
