Leonard McCoy has a perfect office. Everything is placed carefully, cleaned, organized. Nothing is ever out of place or missing.

That's why the first time spock finds himself in the doctors quarters, he's confused. Absolutly nothing is organized.

The bed is unmade, blanket half on the floor and pillow thrown carelessly to the edge.

Clean cloths are folded, but sitting on top of the dresser instead of neatly inside.

He kitchen is a disaster that spock doesnt even want to look at.

Everything is still clean and well taken care of, but its disorganized. Thrown everywhere, sometimes in a way that it's easier to get, sometimes in a way that says 'I dont have time for this'

Leonard just bows his head and apologizes with a blush on his cheeks, but spock finds it fascinating. A look into the doctor's life, what he prioritizes, and what he considers unimportant.

And for once, spock can't find a thing wrong with the doctor, a man who puts so much care and love into others that sometimes he can only put in just enough for himself.

Leonard brushing his hand against Spock's whenever he passes him by, or is feeling particularly panicked.

Letting his fingers linger and that short connection stick for just a few seconds,so he can feel spock's love for him. So that he's overwhelmed by it and can't forget that its there.

Leonard always seeking out that touch, even subtlety, just as a reminder that spock does love him and does want him to be there. That his mind hasn't changed about his feelings for leonard.

Spock realizing this and starting to do the same thing. Resting a hand on Leonard's arm whenever he sees the doctor getting agitated or worried. Placing himself directly at Leonard's side no matter where they are so leonard never has to seek him out for that connection. Never has to go around others to get to spock.

Spock and Leonard appreciating that bond between them and using it whenever they need to keep each other balanced in some way.

Valentines Day with Bones involes

-Relaxing. Video games, baking, puzzles, meditating. Leonard doesn't care so long as he's close to the person he loves and relaxing.

-presents. They find presents everywhere. In their work chair, beside their head when they wake up, on their lunch tray. Its all small simple things, but they're amazing and thoughtful.

-music. Leonard is known for blasting music in medical every day (a poor attempt to drown out his thoughts) but on valentines day its all soft music. Songs about love, kisses, cuddles. Anything sweet he can find. He even makes sure his lovers work station is hooked up to play all of those songs so they're not missing out on anything.

-home made dinner and deserts. Leonard loves cooking and baking and he'll take any excuse to do it. With. Select people (nyota and spock) he really enjoys cooking with them (cooking with jim is a headache and never going to happen again. Leonard can't handle the endless energy Jim has because Jim can't even sit diwn long enough to cook)

-kisses. Lots of kisses. Every time Leonard sees one of his spouses he steals a kiss. Sometimes its a quick peck on the cheek, sometimes its a full blown near make out in the hallways. He doesn't care which it ends up being, only that he gets to show them a bit of love

When he retires Leonard adopts 5 cats from a shelter and on a daily basis he can be found curled up on the couch being smothered by all of them. This is a known fact because his husband, Spock, walks I'm every day and picks at least one cat off of his ridiculous husbands face. Leonard may think it would be a happy death to be suffocated by kitties, but spock does not agree (also, he needs to steal one when it's time to sit down and read a book because they're cuddly and cute gdi)

Spock tells jim to be careful and not Leonard so people think it's a Shipp sp*rk moment In reality, Spock trusts Leonard to take care of himself and come back alive. He doesn't trust Jim to do the same. Thus, he doesn't need to tell Leonard to be careful, it would be illogical to do so xD He loves Leonard so much and knows him so well he knows he doesn't need to tell him to be careful XD
