in his c\lamp verse stuff, which lbr is just his usual stuff outside of the underground, he and yuuko (  @spookfated​  )   are extremely close. he tends to help her out by delivering things across the different worlds and to throw f/ei w/ang r/eed off her trail while he can. ambiguous magic shopkeepers gotta work together. part of why the shop is empty on his end is if he isn’t working on CAT related things, he’s hanging out at yuuko’s shop. if anyone asks if they are dating, he just laughs loudly and says ‘ she’s too good for a fella like me. ‘. they arent dating, but he would do just about anything in his power to help because of the fact shes one of the few actual support systems he has.  they’ve known each other for a very, very  long time. for several centuries at the very least. since ‘childhood’ for them both.

❝ For PLOT REASONS mostly, but I think we both know some people can just be that stupid in real life. ❞ But as much as James just wanted to admit these movies were RIDICULOUS AND PREDICTABLE, he really hadn’t looked up too much from where his face was buried in Keith’s shoulder to avoid the jumpscares any time the music got too tense.

Not that he’d ever verbally admit he was doing this despite having ZERO way to deny it.
