HE REALLY IS THE BEST BOY and it’s been too long since I’ve drawn him so here he is, also drawing and sportin’ a messy updo in a stolen Shiro sweater.

❝ For PLOT REASONS mostly, but I think we both know some people can just be that stupid in real life. ❞ But as much as James just wanted to admit these movies were RIDICULOUS AND PREDICTABLE, he really hadn’t looked up too much from where his face was buried in Keith’s shoulder to avoid the jumpscares any time the music got too tense.

Not that he’d ever verbally admit he was doing this despite having ZERO way to deny it.

James just watched, unamused with his brow quirked slightly in question. Keith may have never quite been the troublemaking delinquent some claimed but he DID have a history of being kind of a BRAT sometimes. ❝ See at this point you’re just being THE ANNOYING KIND OF LAZY because the other charging cable is literally THREE STEPS to your right next to my desk. The room isn’t big, Keith. ❞

though  unconsciously,    there’s  something  terribly  nostalgic  about  the  way  she  speaks.         whether  it  is  about  the  tone  of  her  voice,   or  about  the  fact  of  her  mentioning  the  mere  thought  of  them  being  apart                                           something...           something  seemed  to  delve  into  her  deepest  feelings     .          the  ones  involving  both  sadness,      𝒶𝓃𝒹  𝒿𝑜𝓎     .    

a  bit  of  sweetness,     and  still,     bitterness  too.            𝕤𝕙𝕖  𝕜𝕟𝕖𝕨  𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤  𝕨𝕒𝕤𝕟’𝕥  𝕘𝕠𝕚𝕟𝕘  𝕥𝕠  𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕥  𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣.           and  though  gems  do  live  endlessly,   that  wasn’t  the  case  for  the  two  of  them.            or  at  least        ...       hers,      most  certainly     .             despite  everything,   h̲o̲w̲e̲v̲e̲r̲,   her  face  is  peaceful,  gazing  eyes  moving  from  the  stars  listening  to  their  same  dialogue,  to  the  other’s  eyes,  seemingly  sparkling  at  the  skies  above  them    .             who  would  have  thought  that  they  would  be  the  only  ones  to  witness  her  very  own  sins  ?       her  lies,   and  misfits:     to  her  selfishness,   in  involving  the  other and  so,   so  many  others,  into  a  war  that  she’s  made,   against  those  she’d  once  consider  a  family.             the  simple  fact  of  them  being  on  earth,   was  just  mesmerizing  to  her,    and  still                                                           it  felt  so...    so  right.                    this  is  where  she  belonged.               it’s  where  they  belonged.                  and  though  for  not  too  long,   every  moment  was  enough  to  make  her  smile    .

❝   of  course  we  are.    ❞     that  is  half  a  lie,   but  she’s  not  going  to  delve  in  it  entirely:    it  didn’t  seem  right  for  her  to  do  so.                though  absent                         her  son...                her  very  own  human  son...     would  be  the  one  able  to  carry  on  after  herself     .                   he’d  be  the  one  to  enjoy  life  on  earth.   to  simply  breathe  its  air  and  safely  feel  at  home     .           and  she          she’d  be  the  one  guiding  him  from  afar.        the  one  walking  by  his  side.    and  by  pearl’s  too.        but  she              .       .       .                 pearl:     she  would  not  know  that.     hence,  the  saddened  look  on  rose’s  face,   despite  the  gentle  smile  still  drawn  onto  her  lips.         ❝      i  need  you  to  know  pearl,           that  even  if  you  won’t  be  able  to  see  me                                       you  need  to  know...                        that  i’m  always  going  to  be  there    .      ❞
