May have made a mistake by reminding my toddler that Halloween exists, and now she’s all excited to dress up like a Jellicle Cat and get treats in her pumpkin bucket.

We had a whole discussion about months and calendars and even counted out all six months until then, but I’m fairly certain that didn’t stick. At all. The allure of both kitty cosplay and lollipops is too much for an as-yet-undeveloped sense of temporal progression.

Speaking of my dead Art blog. Have this sketch preview. I drew this for Pride month. I have some special new coloring tools I’m gonna use too.

They’re singing a special song together. Blooky’s little tears are fitting because that song always makes me emotional. I’ll reveal what song I’m talking about when I’ve posted the colored version.

And since my Art blog is dead I’ll probably just post my Art here at random in the future. My shitty Art. I hate drawing hands.

The child officially chose her own outfit for the first time today. It is, and I quote, "BONES!” That would be her black t-rex skeleton shirt and her black pants with the leg bones drawn on them. She also wants to wear her black socks and her boots, which are - you guessed it- black.

She's also in there reading her "hero vs villain" opposites book and only saying the villain parts (villain, frown, lair, destroy, lie, enemies).

I've decided that "goth" is an inborn personality trait, and she is it.
