My College Experience So Far
Oh, trust me guys, college is a dream. It genuinely is. And guess what? I have a secret to tell. I'm absolutely terrified of getting in trouble. By anyone. Authority? Even worse. And the thing is, for some reason I consider anyone 10 years or so older than me authority. It doesn't matter if you clean shoes for a living. You look older? Authority. I'm afraid of you. Don't raise your voice please. Thanks.
But yeah, I had to mention that because this doesn't happen in college. Nobody yells. Again, I'm sure I mentioned this in previous posts but if you don't have anything to present or you don't do any work, nobody's going to punish you. You're your own motivator and this is absolutely perfect to me because I flourish with self-motivation. I want to be able to do my own thing and hope it gets me good marks. It probably doesn't but I guess I'll see and work on it accordingly.
So, although my course doesn't have a lot of hours per week, that definitely doesn't mean it's not demanding as all hell. The amount of nights I've spent keeled over my laptop or computer trying to fix a bug in my game, or some other seemingly insignificant tiny thing and accidentally break another thing, setting off a little domino effect of bugs I don't know how to fix. Don't press shoot before you move player two, he'll shoot up even though he's facing right- yeah don't talk about it, I tried.
I know I should probably talk about night-life or college-fun-times, but again- I'm a huge hermit so those don't happen too often. I usually spend my free time looking at memes, playing nostalgic flash games or some terrible indie game, or sleeping. That happens a lot. During the day, I drown myself in caffeine and eat way too much sugar. Sometimes I gorge on burritos. College life is good.
