I unfortunately dont have a witchy partner in crime, but I can share a little fiction about witchy friends.

— Reminiscing about that time Luz tried to summon a ghost, Amara thought was a terrible idea and ended up meeting a medium. Spoiler: it wasnt that terrible after all.

It was 7 in the evening. They met down the road next to the bus stop. It was October and the light was warm but weak. Adrian was driving. He objected too. “We are not going to solve anything and I’m also running out of gas” or some sort of whining. Luz convinced them with a classic: “I’m going anyway. Soy you can come with me and watch me or stay here and be responsible for my death”. They growled, like werewolves do, annoyed and amused. So they left for the town suburbs.

There had once been a house where Luz drew the pentacle but there was no more. “It’s going to be a mess”. Amara said. She never felt safe without the rifle. Luz sang. It was an old ritual song, words’ meaning had long been corrupted and it was the sounds that invoked the ghost. Or its voice. Her voice. Come closer it said. I can help you. “No you come.” No, you. Come I can show you. “Naw, you come here and we talk” As they were involved in this pointless talk, her feet guided Luz far from the pentacle and more and more near to town. To the camp. “That’s Joni’s camp” Adrian noted. No one payed attention. Until two figures approched. Jonathan and a girl, who was giding him, and looked awfully like him. “Adrian?!” “Jon?” “What are up to?” “Are you three messing up with my sister’s head? Who’s she hearing?” “Wait, are you the ghost” “Are you”. In the meantime, Luz and Jon’s sister, Vero, stared at each other.
