Okay, hear me out: it’s assumed that Yang’s dominant arm is (was) her right arm, correct? Obviously she’s trained herself to be ambidextrous, but just...
BOTH times she has the opportunity to cup Blake’s cheek (6/12 and 8/10) she actively chooses to use her non-dominant left hand because she can still FEEL things like warmth and soft skin and the way Blake presses into the touch with that hand. It’s a conscious choice- it’s instinctual to use your dominant hand to reach out- but she wants to feel those sensations. It’s such a small, well thought through detail.
That or I’m a clown.

screw the haters dude, the setup for this finale was there all along and even though it Hurt Real Bad like, nothing about it was superfluous. haters gonna hate and not use their critical thinking skills very well.

It’s likely that you struggle living far away from the ocean, like, the rest of the world feels just too dry and stark and oppressive. Browns and tans, dry air at high elevations, flat lands, and open skies might stress you out. Deep greens and slate grays are where your heart-home lies. It’s dark and damp and dire to most of the world, and sometimes the sun takes too long to return, but to you it’s the biggest breath of fresh air and the cold is worth it.

but also it’s valid 😂 I just can’t live far from the ocean! I lived in texas (the DESERT PART, no less) for five years and I missed the ocean so much that I ended up writing a fic that took place in maine.... and ended up moving back to maine later that year!! hahaha and the cold is ABSOLUTELY worth it!! the greenery is amazing, 10/10 would move back to maine again
Thank you so much for your candor and realism with that post about Yang, her arm, and your own experience. My own invisible disability is ultimately before I’m 40 going to result in multiple joint replacements/many surgeries. Yang as a character is so important to me because of how she’s not just experiencing superficial trauma, but the whole general WTF trauma concerning the circumstances that brought her to where she is and what it means for her future. How you can mourn who you once were. How you can be so angry at something so out of your own control. How you can be so afraid of what it means for your future. How you fear how those around you will treat you differently once you’ve “changed”. Yang as a valid representation of trauma, pain, and grief for yourself is so important, and I’m glad we have her. I’m grateful for your representation of her. You’re so gentle with her, and now it makes even more sense why :)

What has been the coolest/strangest/most awesome thing you’ve seen or experienced on your epic move road trip so far?
well it was actually relatively short - we got home on sunday evening! i’ve never done a cross-country road trip so honestly for me it was just small things like driving through the rockies & vail in colorado, which was beautiful, or the intense fog in missouri, or the rain & double rainbow we saw entering new york. just the landscapes :) didn’t have time to really leave the interstate lol
I saw that Banshee got updated and also am seeing people saying they’re SOBBING and things like RIP and I am SCARED but of course will devour that chapter in like five minutes and AH what does it MEAN-
Probably doesn’t mean anything... probably... I have no idea what they’re talking about...
