Ghost Punch!! 2: That’s The Spirit
Shay can see ghosts, and after the events of book 1, most people in Teton Falls, Idaho at least know they’re real.
A real problem, that is.
Shay and her brother, Duncan, are charged with cleaning up the town’s little ghost issue and finding the person responsible for the mess that caused it in the first place.
That’s easier said than done, since they can use almost anyone as a puppet, and they’re about to make things very, very difficult.
And honestly? Shay still has no idea what she’s doing, and the only people that could help her are missing.
(I will be posting excerpts like last year! Should I do a tag list? Would anyone want that?)

Day 2
Excerpt: Frost scrolled up the inside of the window panes and climbed the posters of her bed. She stepped down and jerked her foot back. The wood floor was covered in fog, thick and billowing, like pale paint in water.
“Oookay, Shay.” She stood up and moved slowly towards the door. “You’re good. You’re fine. You’ve lived here for two weeks and nothing has-“
The door slammed shut, so did the shutters on the window, plunging the room into the gloom of late evening. She ran to the door, pulling her sleeve over her hand before she grabbed the knob. It rattled uselessly in her hand, the cold of the metal biting through her sleeve.

Day 1
Excerpt: “Shay, focus!” Duncan yelled at her. “Smack it!”
“Some help you are,” she muttered, but came up swinging when the ghost did.
Not that it helped, really. No flame, no ghost bursting into particles of light, just her getting her hand stuck in what felt like icy cold gelatin.
Things were not going her way.
“What does it want?” she yelled at Duncan. “You’re supposed to do that part!”
“I think it just wants to be gross,” Duncan admitted. “So… yeah.”
“Seriously?” Shay’s voice cracked. She yanked her hand back, ignoring the blue marks already forming on her skin along with the frost forming swirls on the slime on her jacket sleeve. “I think I’m just making things worse, Dunc, we need to try something else.”
“I could get a mop,” Duncan suggested.
