Hawke just shows up.

They never answer any of the 'why are you here?' and 'where did you come from?' they just show up. sometimes do something. sometimes ruin things. and then just moves on.

And sometimes brings along their friends to make matters almost worse.

Then the recruiting season starts up and things get super heated and people are now TRYING to get Hawke to participate in their clubs. 

AND THEN EVERYTHING GOES HORRIBLY WRONG.

ok so I haven't played DA2 and DA:I yet but Cullen sounds like he has some freakin amazing character development and he went through some HORRIBLE SHIT but are ppl really hung up on the fact he's only romanceable by ladies? Also I'm madly in love with Velanna even though she straight up murdered dozens of ppl, like, that's about as problematic as you can get lmao.

Well, considering how he went through something so awful that he was the only one to survive while possibly hundreds of others perished, I'll say he's gone through some terrible shit. 

And yet through it all, he will still have no protests (other than fears of abominations) with the Inquisitor should he or she choose to side with mages.He can even fall in love with a mage. 

But no, apparently sexuality is more important. Don't get me wrong, representation in video games is extremely important. 

Be angry with a character because of what they do, not who they kiss at night.

That's just my opinion though  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i don't know why i'm responding to this but here we go

"doxxing" is a nondescriptive and silly word

the act of publishing personal information about others takes many forms, some appropriate and some not

a brief, non-exhaustive list:

place of employment

past organizational affiliations

past personal affiliations

residential address

financial information

information about family

it's pretty easy to see where the line in that list is; the first three conditionally endanger the person's career and reputation (where conditionally means they will only suffer negative consequences from the publication if they deserve those consequences), whereas the latter three unconditionally endanger their safety and the safety of others

and financial information not even that much, because in the year 2014 if your financial information is published it will all be frozen within minutes, and everything's insured. the worst that will happen to the person who has had it published is they'll have to wait around for a week to get new cards in the mail. whereas the people (if any) who tried to use the information will probably get charged with federal crimes.

and there are obviously exceptions as well; if the person isn't protected by nondiscriminatory employment laws, for example, publishing their place of employment is an unconditional threat.

i make those considerations in deciding what information exposures to reblog, as do many others. that's the independent-of-tumblr's-reaction response.

as for what tumblr's reaction was, i'm not quite sure where in the hell you're getting the idea that people complained about KKK members' information being published. like, there was a major uproar when it was deleted by sysops. that's kind of the exact opposite of what you're reading.
