do people just get drunk and then ??? not hate themselves for weeks afterwards because they did/said something embarrassing. and then they don’t try to fix it by saying “sorry i was embarrassing” to people, just to find out that they’ve been a victim of the spotlight effect and everyone does in fact Not Hate You?
