Handfish!

They're anglerfish which have adapted to using their pelvic fins as legs, using them to walk on the seafloor instead of swimming!

These bizarre, shy fish that walk instead of swim face a precarious future in the waters of southern Australia.

Spotted handfish (Brachionichthys hirsutus) have a long illicium, or “fishing rod” – visible here running diagonally up from the mouth – on the front of their head, but researchers aren’t exactly sure what they use it for.
