(( something that came to my mind, when do you imagine Shanks became a Yonkou? How long after leaving the Island where he meets Luffy? =)))
((Six years after he left Luffy! I’m cheating, because it was actually revealed in one of the recent chapters (chapter 957) that he became a yonko six years before the current time in the manga, so I’m using that!
Before this I thought he might have earned the title a bit earlier, just because it seemed from Whitebeard that he was significant enough when he returned to the Grand Line for people to be surprised that he had lost an arm. I was thinking maybe he even gained the title before then, I usually don’t take reactions from people from the Blues as evidence of the goings on within the Grand Line, since it’s pretty well explained that a lot of people from the Blues never leave their hemisphere. It’s deadly just trying to get onto the Grand Line, and once there a lot of things are required to ensure a safe voyage, so I can see many people just being content in their worlds.
But how cool is that? Shanks goes off, saves a kid, and then becomes a yonko one-handed. Like how strong does a guy have to be? They’re reiterating how powerful his crew is too, but they all seem so normal too and they just rolled in to town one day and dominated.
I have a lot of thoughts here, hahaha))
