it's incredible how far these people have travelled. With our 21st century hindsight its easy to imagine someone like Obama or Malala two thousand years later not only still being talked about, but travelling and being displayed in places that we don't even know exist yet, but i don't think anyone from then would easily be able to conceive of it. technology and the amount of knowledge available to the average person has increased exponentially within a single persons lifetime, and its hard for us to not take that for granted
