With LGBTQ+ History month upon us, I'm repeating a little history of my own, highlighting my work once again on The DC Book Of Pride, commissioning the amazing @paulinaganucheau's for the joyful cover art, and showcasing some of my favourite spreads that I art directed for the project, sourcing an array of incredible DC artists I was able to picture research for the interior pages!

With the blue people back in cinemas once again, my thoughts turn to my previous trip to the world of Pandora and my time bringing the DK way to Avatar: The Way of Water Visual Dictionary to bookshelves, overseeing the spread styling and development with the creative team, working on getting a cover that everyone, even ol' Jimmy C, were happy with - and as an added work perk, getting to hang with the stars at the World premiere for my troubles - as if I needed much excuse to scrub up and turn a lewk!

This one has actually been brewing for a long time, so I'm really excited to see my styling work on this project out in the wild and to all the creative team who are helping to finally make this a reality - keep your eyes peeled for this dropping next year!

Revealed at SDCC 2023, here is the cover I designed and the spread styling I've been working on for lucasfilm's "Star Wars Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide" The book is covering the fertile period of the saga from order 66 through to the events leading up to the battle of Scarif, with plenty of content from Andor, Obi-Wan and Bad batch series along the way! All being well, look out for this one later in the year!

Feels like a long, long time has passed since this project began, but finally Star Wars The High Republic Character Encyclopedia is hitting the shelves and jam-packed full of familiar faces from the High Republic era of the Galaxy far, far away! My styling for this book evolved a little bit along the way, but I hope you'll agree, the finished results turned out great!

Starwars.com has an article up to celeberate the launch of Dawn of Rebellion, with some new spreads from the book - including some interesting insights from the authors and a sneak peak at the spreads for Jedi in hiding Obi-Wan, the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth and Luthen's Fondor Haulcraft, as seen in Andor!

My thanks to everyone on the creative team for this project, who really made these pages and content sing!

Out now from DK, Lucasfilm's "Star Wars Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide" takes a deep dive into the exciting era of the saga from order 66, through to the events leading up to the battle of Scarif, with plenty of content from Andor, Obi-Wan and Bad batch too - plus, there's a brand new cross section artwork from the amazing John R. Mullaney!

Very pleased with my cover design on this, and hope you like the styling for the spreads too - personally, I feel you can never have too much Rebel Orange in a Star Wars book!
