“Honest question, and don’t laugh at me for asking: what comes after all the walking and posing for photographs and the interviews? Normally, this is where I either get lost in a convention until it’s time for a panel or sit down to start playing a game. Doesn’t look like those apply here though.”
Isn’t She Lovely || Harleen
After a night of awards, small talk, and wheat felt like endless interviews, Harley was happy to be at the after party. It was a time that she could let loose and take in everything that had happened in the last couple of hours. While the blonde and Eve had gone to award shows together in the past, that night marked the first time they had gone to something public as a couple, and well, it was better than Harley thought it could be. They were still the same goofy best friends, but with the feelings not being restrained they discovered that they weathered the event quite well. She knew she’d be teased later for how “sickeningly cute,” they were being later by Lea, but the blonde couldn’t find it in her to care.
Once she got both of their drinks from the helpful bartender, blue eyes scanned the crowd to find her rather extraverted girlfriend. She figured she’d see the woman talking up someone or other and couldn’t help but laugh when she saw that she was right. However, like some sort of magnet, the moment Eve felt eyes on her she turned and found the blonde almost instantly. All Harley could do was wink at her playfully before making her way through the crowd with their whiskey sours in hand. “Hey babe,” she said once she was close enough. “Here, I got your favorite, now where is my payment,” she teased. After the second drink was out of her hand, she wrapped her arm around the brunette’s waist. “How has mingling been?”

Demi had made a point to come back home from her tour just to go to the show. Selena wanted her there and she wanted to spend time with her girlfriend and show her off. With her girlfriend off talking to some friends Demi lingered around looking for people she knew as well. After spending some time talking to Lea and Dianna she spotted a familiar blonde getting herself a drink. She felt horrible about all that had happened but knew that she needed to go talk to Harley. So, mustering up her courage she strolled over to Harley and tapped her on the shoulder. “Hey.” she said softly, a delicate smile on her lips.

What The Frickity Frack || Harlea
It had been hard to miss the gossip of Lea and Dianna being seen together at the awards. When a fellow actor from her show whispered the information in her ear because everyone knew how close the two were, her eyebrows nearly disappeared into her hairline. Eve had convinced her to wait until the after party to talk to her, which was why she was waiting for her best friend to appear at the party. It didn’t take long before she recognized her walking in and Harley made her way towards the woman and threw her arms around her shoulders from behind. Harley placed a kiss on the woman’s cheek before she let her go to turn around. “Want to tell me why the hell I had to hear from like everyone that you and Dianna are talking again,” she asked quietly. She didn’t want things to be all out there so she was sure to not make a big scene. “Also, thanks mom. I heard you all the way up stage. I hope I made you cry a little bit when I thanked you in my acceptance speech.”

“Ah, pardonne-moi? My apologies. I think you might’ve dropped this while you were taking photographs with my associates earlier; it was found near our equipment on the carpet while we were moving to the interview section.”
