I literally cannot believe I got this picture
The bluebird leaving it's nest which is in the hole in the tree behind him. The babies are now raised and gone so I'm hoping for a second batch in a month or so.
Sweet Spring Red Dogs (Baby Bison) 6781b+ by Jen Hall Via Flickr: I really enjoy watching these spring calves with so much energy and curiosity.
Frosty
Last week I checked the ten day weather forecast, which assured me that temps weren’t supposed to fall below the 50s. That meant that we were past the last frost, and I could start planting the warm-weather crops and flowers.
Today, however, we woke up to 32F / 0C and a light frost. The things I have already sprouted are hardy, I can only hope that the corn and flowers I planted a few days ago were protected under the soil. GRRR! The forecast was off by twenty whole degrees, and that doesn’t seem within reasonable boundaries to me.
In other farm news, there’s been a Canada goose setting on eggs down at the pond. Six enormous eggs! We’ve never had a wild goose raise a family here, before. Today we spotted two fluffy goslings swimming close to their parents! That is definitely a new thing for the farm. Mother Goose lives here, now.
My children are on the way, (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.゚
i’m tired so :(
sakuya is not a kid but he never had a proper childhood or caring guardians/partners and i just. i just wanna imagine that maybe. maybe when sakuya feels down/can’t sleep, citron simply reaches over and takes his hands while telling him crazy stories. it comforts sakuya so much because, as he falls asleep, he knows he’s not alone. and he’s not going to be alone when he wakes up. citron is reminded of his little brother and it’s very heartwarming. (the part of citron telling him stories before bed is actually canon)
masumi learned that tsuzuru’s attention to anythign is so bad when he’s writing his scripts that one day he just deadass gave him something to sleep and it worked. he was out in like 20 minutes. also, masumi putting tsuzuru on the floor and trying to adjust him so he doesn’t get aches anywhere. putting a blanket on him. then going to his own bed and the next morning he pretends nothing happens.
