maybe i'm a paranoid loser but i can't help but to think there is something more going on behind the scenes with Simply Plural going down the more i look into it and really think.

why would they take on a subscription service just for the app to be shut down? now i get burnout but without looking into other options and at least *consider* it?

promoting a (previously) aggressively anti-endo app that allegedly has deleted users accounts for not meeting "standards" and despite being more "endo neutral" now there is still so many issues with Octocon from predator allegations (evidence here (link)) which imo is a lot more egregious.

(note: you are not a bad person at all if you choose to use octocon, if it helps you: use it).

i understand personal affairs, you should spend time with friends and family but?? idk.

i also think being... lack of better words, a cunt, to people who do feel massive distraught over the app they've used to help with their disability (or even to track other things) will not help anything at all. peace through empathy always.

not gonna lie but i don't think singlets (non-systems and otherwise not plural) shouldn't really involve themselves in system specific discourse

no, i don't care if they're "knowledged" in it (which side note: having an interest in psychology and/or theology gives you any right to speak over others or get to invalidate them to whatever preconceived notions)

Being anti-endogenic was generally not healthy mentally in the slightest, in fact being such was detrimental for my health and our system. Accepting them and the fact plurality in general is a lot more than meets the eye has been healing. (At least that's the TLDR of it).

But for us being anti-endo was part of *our* denial process. And while I still have doubts and all that I think accepting them and more has been liberating. Of course, I understand there has been individuals that have more or less spoiled the bunch, individuals that have pushed boundaries and... lack of better words, was in fact a cunt.

But so far other than running into one or two "trans[disorder]" folks, pro-endogenic spaces has been a game changer. You wouldn't believe how much communication has improved, you wouldn't believe how much of ourselves we have discovered. As said it's been healing. And it helped us discovery our origins to be mixed origin (trauma-endo) where yes our system was a result due to childhood trauma but some headmates formed from reasons other than it.

After all, I'm nearly 27 bodily - the more people you talk with and listen to their experience with an open mind it becomes a wonderful experience. Things make sense, who am I to judge and police someone else? Peace through empathy, always. If your reaction is to send death threats or harass me via anon or otherwise then you are not emotionally enough to debate with me ever. And I am all for a good civil proactive discussion but the moment you start insulting us or others then it's an instant block.

CYBERTRONIAN-HEAVY / TRANSFORMERS-HEAVY

(pt. cybertronian-heavy / transformers heavy)

A cybertronian-heavy (or transformers-heavy) system has a high number of, or is mainly made up of headmates who in some way, shape, or form, of a cybertronian (a fictional alien species of the transformer series). As long as they are somehow a or related to cybertronians it counts. There is no set percentage or number needed to identify as cybe/transformer-heavy

The words Cybertronian and Transformer can be used interchangeably to whatever fits best.

The red and purple are meant to represent the two main factions; Autobots (red) and Decepticons (purple).

Metallic grey and blue is supposed to represent Cybertron, but can also be the standard grey of protoforms underneath the armor with the blue being one of the main energon colors with pink being the other color for energon (also often being both the color of fuel, their "blood", and so on).

The symbol in the middle is supposed to reflect the spark, the life force of a transformer. Which are often blue.

(I did kind of bullshit my way through the colors to be honest lol).

I used the -heavy (pluralpedia link) base by The Cryptid Ones.

Done out of self-indulgence because a good chuck of us are sourced from the transformers and/or otherwise identify as cybertronian on some level, some have been here since the middle-to-late 2000s and being one of the main things for fragments to latch too.

Any system regardless of origin can use this term. If it fits: use it. System discourse is not welcomed on this post.

i think if you deliberately go out of your way to harass the dev of Simply Plural (Amaryllis) or even the devs of Octocon, or any other plural centric app and/or service i think you're a loser.

doesn't matter the reason. whether they're discontinuing the app, had some controversies in the pass that has been sorted and publicly acknowledged and apologized for, or have stances on plurality* it does not mean you can go out of your way to harass or bully anyone.

i understand venting frustration i really do ( i have vented a lot to my friends and in other spaces) but i would NEVER go out of my way to harass anyone.

want to continue using sp to the app breaks? do it! want to use octocon? do it! want to use ampersand? do it! (we're personally using it to track fragments and non-active headmates / partially inspired by someone super cool) want to use hivemind? do it! want to use whatever site? do it!

It is definitely weird, and the fact that the moderators were deleting messages from people in Simply Plural's support server (well-meaning messages and questions) is all immature at best, but at worst We don't know what to think

its so bizzare. also according to this post here (link) there was going to a TPA (the plural association) event where SP was going to be a big helping player.

so unless things were talked out this whole thing has likely set back the system community by years.

Hey, I was informed by the dev that the website is still in really early development, hence why it's invite only and such. They didn't intend for it to be discovered this soon.

okay thank you for reaching out!! I was actually informed by the existence of the site via the "Alternatives to Simply Plural" server so i thought reaching out via tumblr was the best option to get more information on the site.

(i have learned since they're mostly active on instagram which we barely use)

So, what does the crowd know about PluralProfiles ? It seems to be an invite only website with little to no contact to any dev team. If anyone can tell me more about this site that would be so cool.
