My favorite fictional mothers. Molly Weasley tops the list because, duh. Rowling writes mothers and women like nobody's business, which is a problem because it should he everybody's business. Why aren't there many good mothers in literature? I understand that having a good mom might prevent plenty of the shenanigans and character flaws that main characters need to drive a story, but we need more supporting mommas! Seriously, The Deathly Hallows hinges on mothers driven to protect their children. Best HP book, best mom book. Okay, also pictured is Mrs. Murry, who's a sweetheart, and Mae Tuck (though Pa has the defining conversation). Apparently all of my other books have absent or utter crap moms. And look! These books are written by women. #mothersday #socksunday #deathlyhallows #awrinkleintime #tuckeverlasting #jkrowling #madeleinelengle #nataliebabbit #springintomay2016 #maybooksberead16 #maythebooksbewithyou
