more info on Jade that you probably don’t know:

         Jade’s parents died from cancer while working in an asbestos factory when she was only four and since then she’s been secretly blaming herself for their death. During her teenage years she’s been living with her older sister - Amanda (whom you’ll meet in the story later). Unfortunately Amanda did not accept Jade’s sexuality and kicked her out when she turned seventeen. 

         Now Jade is 23 and she’s a hairdresser. Recently she has broken out of friendzone in which she was living for the past three years. She’s about to propose to Judith which makes her really anxious and nervous because she’s afraid of missjudging their relationship, that it might be too soon or that something will go wrong.. And it will..
