The art is like the body of the game. The art is one of the first things that a person looks at. Artists play an important part in making a game interesting looking. They draw in the players.
(example: Altor. The art looks interesting huh?)
A sprite is the image of a character. Down below is a sprite of Gokudera.
The sprite of a character can come in many different poses and with many different facial expressions. See how different Gokudera looks in the first image compared to the one below. Different pose and different expression.
It's a computer graphic. It's where a certain image for a certain action occur: Hugs, kisses, fights, an important choice to make, those sorts of things.
How do you make sprites and or CG's?
Well knowing how to draw is important. xD Also having a drawing software, like PaintToolSAI or whatever.

What we're looking for in sprite/CG artists
we're looking for people who already know how to draw. They have the basics down, they know how to color/shade, familiar with layering, can draw KHR characters and such.
rest can be found in the recruitment post
We're not looking for a background artist. Ivy aka starflowergirl will be in charge of finding free pictures to use as backgrounds and will be in charge of adding effects to those pics.
We're not looking for Van Goghs or sakimkichans. We're not looking for a specific style or super talented people. We just want someone who can draw decently and wants to draw for our game. Don't be shy or think your art is horrible. You might be surprised, we might end up liking your art and hire you.
We're still deciding on how exactly we'll decorate our game's menu and our title logo. Sprite and CG artists are our main concern right now.
If you have any questions, think we left something off or have more helpful links or tips, let us know. I hope you found it helpful. :3 Take care my dears.
