Just a lil question... How do you pick the Persona for each character in the Persona The Files Series?
I have a theme for each fic - Sougawa was epic heroes, Okabe is characters from coming-of-age stories. I pick one based on that plus something that would fit with the character in some fashion, even if it’s more subtle.
So the fact that Fuyuko’s Persona is Merricat should concern you greatly!

I’ve been considering it... but I don’t have a PS4 to play P5R with (I played Persona 5 on my PS3). I feel like I need to play the game first before I can effectively make that judgement, as I don’t think I could watch a playthrough.

Hey, Tumblr! I'm an aspiring game developer looking to create a game in RPG Maker MV. The game is called Plush, and follows the adventures of a young girl named Lisanne Wolfgang. She has a big imagination, and uses plush toys in combat!
I have zero artistic skills, so I'm looking for people to help me with the art for this game!
What I Need (Note that all examples don't capture the kind of artstyle I'm looking for! That can be found in the Things of Note section.)
- Concept art. This art will primarily be used for marketing and shows off a cool pose of the character - simple as that. Here's an example: vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/ki…
- Overworld sprites. These are used for when the character is walking around, and have a specific resolution/format that needs to fit into RPG Maker. Here's an example: i.imgur.com/asN2SQK.png

- Dialogue portraits. These would be waist/bust-size popups of the character that show up whenever that character is speaking. Here's an example: i.pinimg.com/originals/36/a4/9…
- Tilesets. These are essentially what I use to create the maps - they're a set of tiles that I use RPG Maker for "painting" the map. Here's an example: i.imgur.com/hfu6wBz.png
- Alternative to tilesets: You can create maps, using a technique called "parallax mapping". Here's an example: i.pinimg.com/originals/10/01/f…
- Various other pieces of art, such as a menu interface design/title screen/a logo/et cetera. I don't consider those as important as the stuff above!
Things of Note:
- None of these sprites are animated; I would much like PNG format for them.
- I envisioned the overall artstyle to look similar to Kirby's Dreamland 3, in that it's like a children's coloring book. Here's an example:

- There will be a lot of sprites. I expect long-term commitment for this project! You will be credited appropriately, but please be sure to stay on board the whole way through!
- If you plan on applying, it would be lovely if you had a Discord account, as I can communicate best there. This isn't a requirement, though!
- I plan on using Kickstarter to obtain funds for this, but I'll likely request a sprite from the artists I pick first; this likely means I'll be paying for each sprite individually (especially in case I don't meet my Kickstarter goal). I'll be using your sample sprites to help promote the Kickstarter!

HELP WANTED: Persona: The Sougawa Files - Extra Social Links!
So, my Persona fanfiction, Persona: The Sougawa Files, is finally done after almost two years! I’ve said this before, but to those of you who supported my fanfiction, thank you all so much. It’s been a pleasure having you all along for the ride.
However, some of you who have taken my exit survey may remember in a question I brought up the potential of doing the non-party Social Links in a “Marvel Method” style, where other people get to write the extra chapters for the Social Link. This is the master post for that!

How does this Marvel Method thing work?
So, let’s use good old Furuta as an example. Empress link. Let’s say I have a good friend who we’ll call Vivian, and Vivian has gotten Furuta on her write list. Here’s how the process would go.
1. I would send Vivian a list of the four Social Link chapters. This list would contain a short outline on what I wanted to happen in each chapter - just key points.
2. Vivian would write based on that. I wouldn’t be very strict on deadlines - I’d like one chapter finished every two weeks, but I know real life can be a problem.
3. After she was done with a chapter, I would take a look and proofread+revise, maybe point out any out of character moments. Vivian would be part of this process as well.
4. Vivian would publish it through her own Archive Of Our Own Account and would get full credit. I would add her work to a Sougawa Files Social Links collection.
And that’s it! This is a way to get writers out there, and to the fans I’ve got, you can engage with the fanfiction more!
How do I sign up?
Also an easy process! All you need to do is contact me through Discord, email, or Tumblr direct messaging (my contact information is at the bottom of this post) with the following information.
- Which Social Links are you interested in writing? I would prefer multiple so I can get you one you want - multiple people will likely apply for some of these. The list is below.
- Are you willing to work with me? This is not working for me, I want this to be a collaborative, fun effort for everyone involved.
- I’ll need a short writing sample at least three paragraphs in length. You can directly message me this, or link it through a pastebin or Google Doc, or something else! The only condition for the writing sample is that it must include Rina as a central character - writing her is going to be as important as the Social Link you get, if not even more important due to her being a developed character. If you wanna show off, you can include a Social Link you signed up for writing, but that’s not required!
And that’s it!
Keep in mind submitting does not mean you will get a slot. I am looking for at least semi-competent writers. You don’t have to be, like, Shakespeare, but decent quality is preferred!
When is the deadline?
Not too sure! I’ll set a deadline when this post is more publicly visible to the people who expressed interest.

Oh, this is a fun one. Warning: SPOILERS, INCLUDING FINAL BATTLE SPOILERS.
Rina: Fate’s Hammer. Rina delivers a precision stab with her rapier, leaving the foe stunned. She summons Rostam, who proceeds to gather ice around his mace, enlarging it to ridiculous proportions. With a battle cry, Rina performs a flourish with her rapier before Rostam brings down the massive mace. KO!
Hikaru: Ride Of The Hero. Hikaru summons Hrothgar, who grabs onto the opponent; upon success, the Persona tosses them into the air. Hikaru temporarily transforms Hrothgar into Beowulf, hops on his Persona, and the two rocket straight towards their foe, with Hikaru delivering a decisive slash with his sword in midair. KO!
Izumi: Unstoppable Beatdown. Izumi lunges forwards, punching the opponent hard enough that she stuns them. Helen appears on the other side, and both of them repeatedly assault the opponent with brass knuckle and scimitar blows, before Helen chucks the opponent into the sky, grabs onto Izumi, and chucks her straight at the foe, who she finishes off with a brutal punch. KO!
Wilma: Fantasy Storm. Wilma zaps a foe with Ziodyne; upon success, she summons Kriemhild. Kriemhild unleashes a flurry of slashes before grabbing onto the opponent and holding them towards Wilma; Wilma proceeds to zap them with a massive electric bolt from her spear. KO!
Ryouichi: Sword In The Stone. Ryouichi swings his club downwards, knocking his opponent down. Arthur appears above them, dropping a massive boulder onto them, before falling down, stabbing straight through the stone - and hitting the foe. The rocks proceed to explode into a massive tornado. KO!
Tamiko: Supreme Forbidden Spell!!! Unferth appears above the opponent and grabs straight down; upon contact, it lifts the foe above itself, suspending them in place. Tamiko summons four Odysseus drones around it that proceed to rain a vicious assault of green lasers onto their helpless target. KO!
Kazuki: Curtain Call. Kazuki swipes out with his claws, grabbing onto the opponent. A curtain slides across the screen; it lasts for a few seconds before it parts, revealing Achilles grabbing onto the opponent and preventing them from moving, with a spotlight shining on them. Kazuki takes a bow, and everything goes black. KO!
Arata: Duality. Arata lets out a quick pair of slashes; upon striking the opponent, he proceeds to barrage them from all sides with slashes. He finishes with a vicious strike to the back, and summons Sheafson some distance away, who dashes in at top speed before slashing the opponent so hard their body disintegrates into light. KO!
Nobuyuki: Holy Flames. Nobuyuki fires a decisive shot from his cane at his opponent meant to knock them down. Upon success, he summons Humbaba, who proceeds to charge up before unleashing a massive laser of light upon the enemy. KO!
Satomi: Wrath of the Demon King. Satomi summons Grendel, who lunges forwards to try to trap the opponent in his mouth-tendrils. If he succeeds, Satomi leaps on the other side before repeatedly slashing them with her axes as Grendel builds power. Eventually, Grendel throws the opponent in the air and proceeds to impale them through with massive spikes of darkness. KO!
Yuudai: Call of The Father. Yuudai lashes out with his scorpion tail; upon grabbing the opponent, he proceeds to invade their mind, fading to a different location for whomever he grabs. He transforms into the Father Shadow form and proceeds to grab onto the opponent with his tendrils, dragging them into his body - all from a first person perspective. KO!
