I forget how much I *ADORE* audio plays!!!! The effort that someone puts in not just voice acting, but foley, SFX and music! It makes my heart swell, makes me think of theatre without any visuals and my imagination can go wild. Now when it's fandom related? o.u.g.h.
abugsvoice's spamtenna audioplays have been one of the few fanworks recently that has left me so giddy and happy, kicking my feets and holding my face because my smile feels so big. They have such a way that it feels like audio fanfiction but with all the extra bonuses of an audio play. Like they embody the character they're narrating in 3rd person, fantastic fantastic FAAAN~TASTIC!
I don't have twitter but I'm sending my excited, inspired good vibes their way and hope they feel it.
on another note, i'm hoping to maybe have a little animatic WIP to show for the 25th ;3;' just to show something yay
Who should help my Main villain for Season 2?
Professor Pgy
Scarface/Ventriloquist
they’re so invested in probably the stupidest argument I’ve ever heard
The talented Voice Actors, Em and Rizi, in Zelda and Link outfits! They are the VAs who voiced Zelda and Link for Kenlair's Audioplay: Couple of the Wild on Youtube.
I was so happy to hear Link being voiced!!!!! So much similar to Kengo Takanashi!!!!
By the way, if you have not listened yet, PLEASE DO! I was so shocked to hear how Em sounds so much like Patricia Summerset too ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

Hello! We wanted to give you a quick update on production for Jump Leads Season 2. If you subscribe to @benpaddon 's Patreon some of this will be old news, but we wanted to make sure everything was out and public and accessible.
We recorded Episodes 2 and 3 (the season is recording out of order) in July 2024, and released a teaser trailer later that month. Originally, the plan had been to record episodes 1 and 6 later that month, and episodes 4 and 5 in August or September, with an intended launch date before the end of 2024.
Unfortunately, a variety of issues unrelated to production led us to have to delay production of season 2 into the new year. This has turned out to be something of a blessing - we've been able to work on the scripts a lot, and they're in a much better shape. To make up for the delay, we dropped a winter minisode on December 23rd.
But aside from that, the extra time has allowed us to extend our reach with casting for the show. You've already heard some of the benefits there, with Roger Craig Smith appearing in our winter minisode - we have even more guests coming to play with us in season 2, and that might not have happened without this delay.
Right now, we're still aiming for a Spring 2025 launch. I would love to get episode 1 out in time for April 26th - the two-year anniversary of season 1's debut( and also Ben's birthday!) but our priority is making sure that the show is the best we can make it. We are already so proud of season 2, just based on the scripts alone! We can't wait for you to hear it.
In the meantime, here are some ways you can help the show:
Listen to season 1 again! (No, really - you'll want to make sure you're caught up.)
Leave a positive review on Apple Podcasts, and/or a positive score on platforms like Spotify and Pocket Cast.

If you're seeing this for the first time and have never heard of Jump Leads... hello! We're a scifi-comedy audiodrama that's perhaps best described as Doctor Who meets Red Dwarf by way of Sliders. We've been favorably compared to shows like Rick & Morty and Star Trek: Lower Decks, and our first season was included in The End's Best Audio Fiction Shows of 2023. Check us out! Maybe you'll like us.
anyone know how to get their hands on the original 1980 play starstruck? the audioplay I'd also love, whichever works
