The Not Safe To Drink: Music For Flint Water Crisis Relief compilation album is out and our exclusive song "Sponge" is available on it.

Our contribution to this comp was written about the resilience of our community.

As KING 810 said, "We don't turn and run where I'm from."

Flint, Michigan is made up of some amazing people who, despite the odds, continue to pour themselves into making our home a great place.

This is not said to take away from the water crisis or any of the problems that we continuously face, but to feature the people who won't give up when faced with them.

Thank you to the following and everyone else who makes Flint great. Their perseverance is unmatched and inspiring to say the least.

BledFest 2015

Check out this cool list of bands in front of a neat red photo. 

If you look real closely, we are in that list, along with some other home dogs like Backpacks and Teaheads. 

For $32, you get to see some sweet touring acts and Michigan bands.

We aren’t a big band. 

But, to us, it is unbelievably flattering and exciting to play bledfest.

So even if you aren’t coming to see us, please consider coming out and supporting a festival that give bands like us an opportunity to feel significant.

In Da Studio

This week we wrap up tracking for a single we're doing at 37 Studios in Rochester Hills, MI:

We've been polishing up our first 6 song EP. It looks like we'll be ready to record this in early 2015 (January/February).

We just had some sweet shirts made by Mark 3 Graphic Design and Flint City T-Shirts that we'll have at our show with chasing-the-riots-band at the flintlocal432:

As always, we'll have free stickers and free 4 song demos available as well.

We had a blast this weekend.

Our first show was in Saginaw on Friday at the Hamilton St. Pub with dontpulltheplug, The Angst, and The Cocks. There were a ton of people there we didn't know, and they were all awesome. Thanks for hanging out, talking to us, and enjoying the rest of the bands with us.

We had no idea there was such a lively scene up in Saginaw, so it was very cool to get the chance to get in on it.

Sunday we played at Mac's Bar with midwestskiesrock, bluffingtheghosts, The Sailor Kicks, and Alex Dwyer.

It was a Sunday night, so not as many people were willing to come out and party hard, but the handful that did were more than enough to make it a good time.

Special thanks to Lansing local musicians Hannah Weir and Summer Winters for coming out and supporting that show.

We are very lucky to have an all ages space where anyone can experience a myriad of local acts from all different genres.

It was incredibly cool to see a group like intoitoveritofficial choose to play in Flint last Friday over other places in Michigan.

It obviously doesn't have to be a show we play at, but please consider bringing some friends and dropping in on some shows to support the Local.

New Demo, EP 2014, Punk Rock Prom, and more!

We're wrapping up writing our first EP that we are planning on recording in the next couple of months!

We've released a new demo of one of the songs that will be on the EP. It's called "A Fair Affair" and it represents a lot of change for us.

The demo was recorded by us and mixed/mastered by our good friend Will Luongo. It is available for free download. Please share it with others if you like it!

When we originally started playing, there were a lot of intentionally poppy traits we shot for. But as we've been progressing as a band, I think we've found that we're a lot more comfortable moving toward a Pop-Punk sound than a Power-Pop sound.

We think this is more apparent in our new demo, and hope it will be reflected in the EP as a whole.

On another note, we recently played the annual Punk Rock Prom at the flintlocal432, which was Star Wars themed this year!

It was really cool being a part of that show. Little American Champ played, and they are phenomenal. It's such a great event and a fun time. If you have never gone, please consider checking it out next summer!

We also recently had our first show in Lansing at Mac's Bar with Fusion Shows, which was a lot of fun. We played with the band Squirrel Shaped Fish who are CRAZY good!

We've got some more shows coming up, including Leilapalooza in Battle Creek on July 26th!
