Since this whole au is kinda like a infection (But it's more poison that changes you), would there be characters who are immune?

No one is immune (except, of course, those incapable of eating like robots, or Glooms in disguise)!!!

However, a few Sprunkis managed to completely avoid being exposed to the poison (Wenda and Gray), while some others are at least resistant to it.

Sky and Brud both manage to last the entire incident without succumbing fully, Sky because of their youth and Brud because of the severe injury.

Tunner lasted longer than most due to having strong will/keeping a cool head, and OWAKCX (not shown) didn't get exposed to the poison at all until fairly late into Horror Mode.

There's one other Sprunki who managed to resist the poison... but they're yet to be revealed...

For the sprunki au I love and now you have me curious as to what the others look in the horror mode

We did actually draw some concepts recently for how Tunner and Durple end up in our AU :)

It took a while because both of them are very important to the AU's plot, especially in Horror Mode.

Warning for body horror, blood, and cartoon gore under the cut!!

Most of the horror forms in this AU are somewhat related to the canon fates.

Tunner manages to hold out for a long while once Horror Mode begins, having noticed that something was off about his fellow Sprunkis. He's Sky's caretaker in this AU, so he ends up taking shelter in an effort to wait out the mysterious illness turning their fellow Sprunkis into distorted beasts, not wanting to risk dragging his child into danger.

Unfortunately, he's already been exposed to the poison at this point. He's on a time limit. He meets up with Wenda after being forced to evacuate the building he and Sky were hiding in, and the three begin traveling together in order to try to figure out the source of the mutations.

Unlike most of the other Sprunkis, Tunner realizes it's only a matter of time before he joins the horde of monsters roaming the town and asks Wenda to take him out to protect Sky in the event he loses himself.

To her credit, she tries. Unfortunately, this only escalates the poison's effects on Tunner.

Now, he wanders the town, a rotting husk. Not nearly as dangerous as some of the other Abnormals, but a far cry from the jovial, protective being he once was...

As for Durple...

Durple's horror form isn't all that different from canon... which might be even worse for him considering he prides himself on having a very elaborate, decorative appearance.

In his horror form, most of Durple's defining features are gone, the poison rendering him unable to hold a coherent form. Unlike his normal form, he also has "wings", which are merely a corruption of the frills and fins that he normally sports.

He's close friends with Hatter in this AU, being among the first to defend them from Wenda's accusations even after Horror Mode begins. Watching Durple's gradual deterioration causes a guilty Hatter to almost rethink the plan of experimenting on the Sprunkis... but sunk cost fallacy is a powerful thing.

After succumbing to the mutation and becoming an Abnormal, Durple is the second biggest threat to survivors. His nature as a trumpet-player has turned his mournful cries into powerful blasts of sound, able to incapacitate anything that dares cross his gaze.

It's a good thing this is all temporary!
