this piece was a lot of fun !! i loved drawing eldritch!alastor especially. drawing luci as a human felt. weird and he looks very boring lmao but i do love making him flustered

ive been wanting to get into more comic-type pieces so thats probably going to be what i start doing after im done with this event. no idea for what yet but we'll see i suppose

second piece for @fanartfrenzy done! this is a piece of fanart inspired by fiat justitia ruat caelum by lady_lark on ao3, both it (and its prequel fic) are fascinating dives into lucifer taking on a more active role as the king of hell, and i highly recommend you check them out

im slightly less behind now ?? the easy bingo would be middle row but im still going for leftmost column. i have a fic picked out for dead fandom but im still juggling which fic i want to do for last scene.

more about the piece itself!! this was. so much fun. drawing the courtroom was a joy and im so happy with how it ended up looking. figuring out how to draw all of the sins and make them look decent when theyre so small on the canvas was a challenge but overall im happy with them ?? i could not get luci looking exactly how i wanted but its good enough lmao

some fun facts:

- obanai is kind of blind bc his right eye is a typical gorgon-type eye and his left is more human, and they both work differently enough that it causes a lot of blurriness and distortion in his vision, so his snakes help him navigate

- sanemi and genya are western-type dragons, meaning they actually have wings that are capable of flight (as opposed to akaza, who is an eastern-type). sanemi doesnt fly often, he rarely had the chance as a kid and is a little afraid of heights

i definitely overestimated myself committing to a full piece for my first art square but it was fun and really good practice. i havent done a fully rendered scene like this in. a very long time ??? and ive improved a lot since my last one. def some things id do differently but overall im happy with the result
