In the fusion au Ace would never doubt that he is loved/wanted... (which makes losing Sabo so much worse) Luce would be a chaotic/caring fusion, Sabo+Ace (Sace? ASL fusion would just call themself ASL, and probably be semi nonverbal because they don't NEED to talk, they are so content BEING that they don't need words unless spoken to...

Ace+Sabo: Asa (cue Luffy giggling childishly when he meets Aisa in Skypeia and tells her that his big brothers’ fusion had the same name as her) Sabo+Luffy: Saru (since Luffy’s name is pronounced Ruffy in japanese, and it sounds better than salu)

Yes to all of those (i’m wheezing at feral bastard, because you’re so fucking right). like on their own? sabo is the responsible big brother who usually keeps the other two in check. and luffy is chaotic but ineffectual and easily distracted by both his brothers. but put the two of them together? they get so much worse. it’s the exact reason that ace never lets the two of them fuse without him, if he can help it. they can’t afford the amount of destruction Saru causes every time he comes back lmfao.

ASL being semi nonverbal is so true though and I never thought about it??? Like, especially after the brothers move out of Dadan’s place, the only other people they hang out with on a regular basis are each other, and if they’re fused, there really is no other reason to talk.

After marineford in this au, i do think that the straw hat pirates still do the two year separation to train, so during that time luffy drops off the face of the earth, and sabo searches out the remains of the whitebeard pirates (what if they reform as the Phoenix pirates under Marco? that would be really cute, I think. not all of them would stay, but the other commanders, at least, would definitely join up).

when Sabo sees Ace in person for the first time in almost ten years, he throws himself into his brother’s arms, and when Asa blinks open his eyes for the first time in too too long, he’s so torn up that he disappears into his room for hours, refusing to speak to anyone else. he just sits there, alternating between happy tears, tears of grief, and manic laughter. he just doesn’t know how to feel. he lies in bed, thinking about how sabo had grown up in the revolutionary army. and the part of him that’s Ace is just so happy that his brother grew up safe and loved and surrounded by kind people. asa thinks about ace and luffy’s childhood together, and sabo mourns the fact that his supposed death had put them through so much grief. he mourns the fact that he had missed out on so many years with them. but he’s also so so grateful that he had lived to be reunited with them, and that he was able to see the memories of those days in asa’s mind.

ace knows when the straw hat pirates are supposed to regroup at the sabaody archipelago, so he makes sabo promise to meet him there in two years so that asa can surprise luffy,

sabo wouldn’t miss it for the world.

BNHA fake fic: Who lives, who dies, who kicks ass

lol it’s a crackfic about class a's ongoing game of hitman, which they were forced to restrict solely to their dorm building by aizawa, because they were causing too much havoc within the school.

every once in a while, they have mic secretly choose one of their classmates as a hitman, and it becomes that person’s duty to try and “kill” each of their classmates without letting anyone else know they’re the hitman (taking out other players if you’re not the hitman results in a penalty)

the game is over either when the hitman kills the last player, or once someone manages to take out the hitman.

izuku gets chosen as the hitman and no one expects how competitive he gets when it gets to the game. he takes advantage of his puppy eyes and innocent smile to fly under the radar. bakugou calls it from the very beginning that izuku is the hitman and tries to tell everyone, but no one believes him because izuku is too honest to be able to trick them about being the hitman!

izuku gets half the class out in the first two days (these games usually last at least a week or two, depending on how good everyone’s game is), and people really start to panic.

shinsou gets falsely accused. multiple times.

shouto is the first to die, because he doesn’t even think to be suspicious of his boyfriend. the fact that izuku’s boyfriend is the first victim doesn’t make anyone suspicious.

bakugou is the last victim standing, but because he and izuku know each other so well, the cat and mouse chase ends up lasting almost a week, because they can never manage to get the drop on each other.

izuku ends up winning.

they named the city after us (they found us in its rubble) for bnha or khr for the fic title asks?

oh that’s awful (and by awful i mean heartbreaking) why does everyone want me to write angst?

anyways i since you said bnha or khr, i hope you don’t mind a crossover?

because the vongola started off as a vigilante family, and i like to think that, in the world of bnha, tsuna would be trying to desperately bring them back to their roots.

the hero commission hate them for it, because none of them have hero licenses and they’re technically villains.

but the people who live in their territories adore them. thanks to tsuna’s vongola, crime rates in the towns under his protection are next to nothing, and any pro heroes who try to set up agencies there are bullied out within months.

the vongola’s special position as vigilantes means they can do things that pro heroes can’t because of the law, and if they have to become monsters in order to protect the people who rely on them for safety, then so be it.

vongola decimo dies at the relatively young age of 46, in a stand-off against an alliance of pro heroes determined to take down the criminal mastermind.

and when they succeed, instead of the cheers and jubilation they’d expected from the people, the heroes are met with keening grief and hatred.

the anniversary of his death is declared a day of mourning, and statues goes up in his honor

Some questions about Fishy Dad AU!!! Did Jinbei take the kids back to the island for them to start their journeys? Also, are Luffy's clothes different from cannon in a way to hide his sun? Because Nami at that point would learn to associate a sun shaped burn with Arlong, and i don't think she would join someone with that mark willingly without some history lesson on the Sun Pirates first...

oh that’s a good question, i never thought of that!

i think the starting point of their journeys is different for each of the brothers.

ace, i think, would want to start off at reverse mountain, because he wants to go see crocus before he starts his journey. this ace isn’t bitter towards roger, because he grew up sheltered from the world’s hate, and he had a massive family who didn’t care who his birth father was. to anyone on fishman island, he’s jinbei’s oldest brat, and that’s all that matters. jinbei has told him a bit about the roger pirates, but he didn’t know them well, and crocus is the only one whose position ace knows for sure, so he goes to talk to the old man and learn more about his parents (later, when the spade pirates reach sabaody and ace finds out that rayleigh was there the entire time, ace facepalms because he was so fucking close. ace didn’t have to cross half the world to reach crocus. but at the same time he doesn’t regret it, because he got to meet the old man, and he got to meet each of his crewmates, so it was worth it)

Sabo knows from before he even starts his journey that he wants to join the revolutionary army. because he grew up on fishman island, and he saw firsthand the terrible effects of the slave trade, and he wants to help build a world where his loved ones don’t have to fear the possibility of being kidnapped as slaves. so he sets out from fishman island and heads straight into the new world, searching for some way to get in contact with the revolutionaries so he can join them. jinbei has full confidence that he raised his boys to be strong enough to handle any seas, but he still frets over sabo heading straight into the new world without any crew to back him up

in this au, the asl trio’s meeting would have to happen earlier in order to match up with them meeting koala (she’s a year older than sabo and ace, so around the time she was saved was when luffy met ace for the first time), so maybe luffy was given to dadan as a baby, instead of being raised in windmill village. so he knew sabo and ace from the beginning, and they were picked up by jinbei at ages 4 and 7 respectively. so how did luffy meet shanks in this au? i think it would have happened when they were passing through fishman island on their way back to the new world after the red hair pirates left dawn island. jinbei’s probably away on a voyage, leaving his sons in the care of the royal family, or some other friend, and when shanks and his crew pass through, the boys find out he’d been to dawn island. they get excited because that’s where they’re from, and that’s what causes luffy to imprint on shanks. he wants to know how his foster mother dadan is doing (too bad shanks never met dadan, but he does know makino, the nice lady from the village who used to come visit the bandits sometimes and bring clothes and treats for the boys). luffy ends up getting kidnapped by a passing pirate crew, which shanks saves him from, in the process losing his arm, and that’s how luffy gets the straw hat.

luffy thinks that starting his journey from fishman island would be cheating, so he asks his dad to take him back to dawn island (jinbei grumbles and huffs about having to take him so far, but it’s all in good fun). not only is it a good starting point, luffy also wants to take the chance to see dadan before he sets off, so he can tell her that he and his brothers grew up safe and loved and happy. and he can tell her that even though he was only with her for a few years, she’ll always be his mom (dadan starts sobbing and throwing things at him, telling him to get out, she’s not emotional, not at all)

as for luffy’s sun tattoo? his canon clothes would cover most of it (since he wore his vest buttoned at the beginning of his journey) except for a few rays at the top, but personally? i feel like he would be too proud of his sun to ever cover it up. he’d probably wear his vest open specifically to show off his sun.

when nami first sees it, she immediately distrusts it because, like you said, she associates it with arlong. it does make her more cautious in her approach to luffy though, and she doesn’t try and turn him in to buggy because if there’s a possibility he works for arlong, it could get her in lots of trouble. she puts on her persona as an officer of the arlong pirates when she deals with him, thinking it’ll be the best way to get his trust, since with his strength he’ll be able to help her out of the situation she’s in really easily. and then she can travel with him back to cocoyashi without much danger. the more time she spends with him though, the more she gets perplexed because she sees how different he is from arlong’s crew. and he’s definitely too stupid to be putting on an act.

she finally gets her answer when zoro asks luffy after they leave orange town “what does that sun mean anyways?” and luffy explains to him about the meaning of it, and how this sun is his pride, because it connects him to his family

Luce, after hours of giggling, huging himself, wigling in the floor like a worm, followed by hours of staring at the Strawhats with a pondering look and them giggling finally unfuses. Luffy: "So..."makes a fist that briefly flashes black"Haki, huh?" Ace, smiling like a crazy deranged person: " YUP!!!" Alabasta + Strawhats crash course on Haki by a crazy mama hen of a big bro?

fusion au makes luffy way too fucking powerful because he knows too many strong people.

especially since ace had conqueror’s haki too!!

obviously luffy wouldn’t try to test that out on the merry since he’s surrounded by his crew and doesn’t want to hurt any of them, but i can imagine the next time he’s on a battlefield he decides to try it, and everyone around him drops like flies.

(ace didn’t think to give luffy a crash course on conqueror’s haki because he never considered that luffy might have it, given how rare it is)

luffy would definitely take a while to properly master armament, especially since ace would have only been with them a short time to teach them the basics of it, but i can imagine even what little he does know would be a HUGE help in the battle against croc. 

by the time the crew reaches sabaody, they have something of a messy grasp on the two main kind of haki along with some strange methods that come from being self-taught for the most part.

can you imagine rayleigh seeing these guys and feeling a headache come on because “okay okay i don’t know how you’re even doing that, but let me teach you the proper way to harness your haki”

It's pretty canon that asl don't have many pictures of themselves, but papa Jimbei... he would take so many pictures!!! Luffy might even carry a few with him, to show off to literally anyone how cool his dad is! Or maybe a portrait or two in the sleeping quarters!

sanji thought the best thing about their stop at ryugu kingdom would be all the pretty mermaids he would meet. instead, it’s the hours they spend at luffy’s childhood home while jinbei shows them all of their captain’s embarrassing baby photos.

you just know that luffy and his brothers would have taken out hody jones and vander decken long ago, so instead of having to save fishman island, the straw hats instead just get welcomed like heroes and spend the whole time getting free things and being told stories of the asl brothers’ shenanigans from when they were young.

and also being followed around by princess shirahoshi who just really missed her best friend

iida gets noticeably quieter when he's imposter, in that he's speaking in a normal indoor voice. yaoyorozu self reports but suspicion never lands on her until after the game is over / she wins because she buddies up with someone (always different) who vouches for her, which is something she does even when she's a regular crewmate; she does long conning plays and has an innate grasp of timing for being a vent gremlin. shinsou plays 3rd imposter so often no one votes him out when he IS imposter.

lmfao shinsou as third imposter is something i never knew i needed until now.

in practice? they’re awful to play with, absolutely horrible.

in fic? the funniest shit ever tbh.

iida getting quieter when he’s imposter is the funniest thing ever because i can so see it happen. he’s just too earnest to be able to lie convincingly so he just does not talk.

yaomomo as an evil mastermind? love it. she’s so pure irl that no one ever thinks to suspect her even though they know what she’s like in the game because? that’s yaomomo? who could suspect her????

Honestly Shirahoshi and Luffy as childhood bestfriends ? Beautiful. I would imagine that the friendship would give Shirahoshi more confidence than her canon counterpart. Also Jinbe probably have a picture of Luffy ‘holding up’ Shirahoshi ( She probably float using those bubble ring but Luffy doesn’t know that)

shirahoshi and luffy as childhood friends is so cute because you’re right, she’d definitely have more confidence, but i do think it’d be really cute if she was still kind of a crybaby who tried her best to be brave because she wants luffy to be proud of her.

the picture of luffy ‘holding up’ shirahoshi is the cutest thing ever, and i can imagine it’s one of luffy’s favourites too. maybe he keeps it in the boys’ cabin on their ship
